What are your dream TAR matchups?

Dippy vs Ronnie o'sullivan
one pocket on a 12x6, (in a strip club)
Ronnie giving up 18-4
$500,000 challenge match.
20 ahead (1st person to request a break or timeout of more than 5 minutes loses 5 games)

im not sure i would have a chance that amman is goooood!!!!!!

I'd like to see SVB vs Hatch in the classic TAR format... we were trying to make this happen at a local room here in Buffalo, but no luck as of yet :-( I'll take Dennis for $100 ;-)

You DID say dream

My DREAM match would be Harold Worst and Walter Lindrum.
Possibly the 2 best cuesmen that ever lived.
The match would be an 'all-round'.
They would both have a year to learn to learn the games they were
unfamiliar with.

Back in the real world...how about David Peat vs.Joe Rogan.
The Dipster gets 11-7 at 1-hole...
...after all, being able to talk like Earl has a lot of shark value

Hey Cali,

You are correct about a good Bank Pool matchup.
I got hooked on banks after seeing Eddie Taylor play in San Francisco at Cochrans in 62!!

something like a phenomenon

I love how everybody wants to see matches on a 10' now. This is awesome. Diamond - please take notice!

I would love to see all the top players eventually come to Youngstown and play on The Beast.

I loved the undercard idea. Make this thing an all day event, since some people are coming from out of town to watch, it'll give them more to do during the day. Could have a different undercard during each day of the event, race to 21 or something and start it at 2pm if the main event starts at 7.

SVB vs Bowman - Barbox 9 ball, race to 100 in 2 days.
Bartram vs Schmidt - 10 ball, even, race to 100 in 1 day.
Nevel vs Hatch - 9 ball or 10 ball, race to 100 in 3 days.
Nevel vs Schmidt - all around picking any of the following games: 8 ball, 9 ball or 10 ball, banks and one pocket.
Frost vs Dippy - Dippy gets 19-4, 20 ahead, no breaks longer then 5 minutes, and they both wear a mic.
Earl vs Alex - same way as Earl vs SVB and on the same table.
Alex vs SVB - any game, any table.
Earl vs Hennessee - just to see how long before they piss each other off enough to fight. Lol.
Nevel vs Feijen - just to see who's face gets redder. Lol.
Mills vs Deuel - just to see how long a race to 100 can take between the racking and soft breaking. Lol.

Donnie Mills vs. Corey deule 10 ball on a diamond ( the one at crooked cue so I can be there!)

I want to see either cleary or chris b. vs sc5, if tom wins he gets their new # & all his texts must be answered in a 10 min. time frame.(you think earl went off,tar streamed)

Dream match? Shane vs. Bob Jewett on the moon. See who can adjust to 1/6th earth's gravity SVB or Ph.D. Jump shots could be very entertaining.

Dynamite vs Rodney Morris - 9ball race to 100
Stevie Moore vs Anyone
Earl vs Alex on the 10fter
Efren vs Earl on the 10fter

OMG! That would be the greatest match ever! They're not only probably the two best cueists ever to live but also two of the most dedicated ever.

Dream matchups......

In my dream world, I would love to see the young Cole Dickson against any of the filipinos (9 ball). If its the old push out rules for 9 ball I think nobody could beat a 19 yr old Cole.

Here in the real world maybe
Alex vs Frost 1 hole
Orcullo vs SVB 10 ball
Deuel vs Chohan 1 hole (hopefully soon he is back)
any match where you put 2 champions on a barbox playing 9 ball (love me some 5 packs)

Sigel vs Strickland in 10-ball on a properly cut straight 10-foot.

Wu vs Orcullo, 10-ball on a 9 or 10 foot. I don't think Orcullo would like it any more then he did playing Yang.
