Since I'm a relative newcomer to the forum, I've been digging my way through posts from the previous years and bookmarking like crazy. Some are very useful, some are really interesting, and some are just a hoot. Hence the question.

Please share links to your favorites with us.

Threads on aiming like CTE. Chalk threads about wearing out the ferrule. Dippy Dave threads.

I love almost all threads started here on the forum, we have a bunch of very intelligent people who post volumes of great information. The only threads I do not like are those that have no originality, it seems that some people can not think of anything to carry on a conversation about just like off line, so they Cut and Paste news or other tripe, but I suppose some may view my posts as such!!!!

Welcome to the forum

Jays Your Man in Manila thread was great. Alot of his threads are excellent.

Check out some of the threads thebighurt has posted in. The most recent one where he and lil jon got into the major woofathon was pretty funny. If you search his posts he has another one where he talks about his hustlin in Arizona while saying he was from Traverse Michigan. good times

alot of the threads discussing players of past are really good. Like Dennis Searcy or Buddy Hall or Keith or Ronnie Allen. Pick any of the really notorious action players of the past and you will find long threads on them discussing some of their history.

Picture of cue makers thread.
If you like looking at cues. look for Marsman thread for his pictures.
you can do a search. Some amazing collection.
Then there is NPR section where it all gets out of hand but can be funny.

Neils "What Would you Do Here?" threads.

Jay's reports from Manilla, absolute must-reads.

Most any threads giving on-site reports from any of the big events, ie DCC, etc.

There are, of course, many more. These are what came to mind first.

Oh yeah, the Dippy Dave stuff was kinda fun to try and follow...:p

I absolutely LOVE the "Show Us Your Home Rooms" thread. To this day, it's my favorite. A close runner-up is the "Pool Hall Photos From All Over" thread.
