Barry Banilow. A pool player in the late 1950's who was not only a three time world nine ball champion, but a damn fine singer and piano player.
After a short, but illustrious career as a professional pool player, Mr. Banilow went to Galveston, Texas, and worked at "Two-Tooth Sally's" hot pillow joint as an entertainer.
He wrote a song about his favorite pool table, called "Gandy", that gained some local popularity. :smile:
