Snake Wood

Looks like a pretty nice piece of snake wood you've got there TonyZ.

Great looking cue, and snake wood seems to be a very good wood for cue building.
Kind of tough to work with due to the density, but the cues seem to play great from my experience.
I have a few, one is almost all snake wood and they all play great.

THANKS....

That is a beautiful cue.

I play with the 4 point Webb in my sig. 19.5 oz. 1/2 in ferrule with a med morri tip.

I have no problem breaking with it, but my Josey SP with a phenolic ferrule and WB tip breaks like a mule kicks.

Alternate between my Gilbert full splice and a 59" Barry. The Gilbert is 19.6 with 12.8mm tip on the playing shaft, Moori Med old stock tip. The Szam is right at 20oz and also 12.8mm with LePro tip. If I'm out bar banging, it's usually a simple sneaky conversion I made out of an old Dufferin....linen joint collars and butt with 12.8mm buckhorn ferrule. Moori Med old stock tip. Break with a dedicated j/b with phenolic tip for 8 or 9-ball...playing cue for 1P.

I finally got a picture of my players. I am missing my cocobolo Omen that is being retipped:

Mike Gulyassy jb (the new version that Earl Strickland is using), 2 Bluegrasses and my money maker Kikel. All with leather wraps except the jb.

My weapon of choice.....

I've gotta go with my custom Judd JT-1. One of the best if not THE best cues I have ever shot with.

Whoa...........

Orangecrush.....I just sold my 1 of 1 McDermott that is the same as that except it has inlays in the forearm and in the buttsleeve as well as the wrap being all black irish linen, oh and the joint collar is German silver. Same colored spliced points and ringwork too. Was yours part of the Tribute series to Szamboti or Balabushka? Mine that I sold was 1 of the 3 that were a tribute to Paradise.

It wasn't one of the tribute cues. But it does have the C series forearm. I think there was 15 made in the group I bought from.

I play with all my Cues, sometimes the T** H***** Plan Jane, sometime (1) of my J** B***'s, sometimes, (1) of several J*** Maddens, or the D****** SP, and soon my C*****.
