What defines someone as "bad action"?

I am curious as I have two people who may fall into this category and are branded this by some people but I am not sure what exactly constitutes "bad action"

Player X, plays fair games gives appropriate weight and always pays up on time and the one occasion he did not have it he paid up the next morning. However, During the play he disappears for long periods of the match, always take smoke breaks, changing music etc, also talks a lot to himself, opponent and spectators about how unlucky he is.

Player Y, will take 2 hours to make a game wants the world from everyone even though he is a decent player, and by the time you give up the weight he wants to play for 20 bucks when the original bet was 100. he has paid on time but also likes to throw the air barrel, hustle drunk bar players and stiffed an old timer out of 20 dollars playing 5 a game one hole.

Any other definitions?

Bad Action, could mean the guy is an asshole, could mean he is a lock artist.

Could mean, he is a stiff artist, could mean he wont lose much money.

Could mean he is trouble.

Does mean to stay away from that guy!

I'd think of it as just about all of those, including what Nostroke said, except the won't lose much one. That's just cheap/small action to me and something that I'm used to. If they won't lose much, but I will, that's a different problem! :embarrassed2:

Someone who loses and doesnt pay, or takes a while to get you the money (days or more).

1st one is a locksmith
2nd is bad action
3rd is a shark

Yes, there is at least one other definition; someone who makes you want to punch them in the face. Kind of like a Jack Hines/Hynes type person.

Sounds like X has no game or distracts himself so he never finds it. If all you are gonna do is lose...you can owe me awhile.

Worst action is locksmiths who usually only play 2 sets . If they win 2 they suddenly have to go and lock up the money.

Or they win and lose. They look at breaking even as ok. I think it's stupid to play 2 hours and only pay the house table time. I try to get these guys to agree to one big set or play 3 sets minimum but the seem to hate odd numbers and jacking the bets.

Me I am too easy. I give crazy spots sometimes to see if I can outrun the nuts. They all know I got money and bring toothpicks to start a lumberyard. I try to hold people to pay as they lose but usually dont.

I just keep the window wide open and that can certainly draw alot of flies.

Well they can give me stuff or cues, take me shopping with credit card , do odd jobs for me. Got a lot of things other than money over the years.

right you know I encountered guy played for 20 a game one pocket he plays real slow and deliberate doesn't sell anything out up table game both games lasted almost an hour. then he quits and say I got the table time right?
