I got the measles cue ball. Have wanted one for a while, and finally got one. Looking forward to using it tonight.
 
Well I didn't get this but instead, made it as a Christmas gift for my business partner. He has a man cave with an 8' Olhausen table with green cloth. So I carved this one and painted it green and gold to hang on his wall with his other stuff. Measures approximately 10" x 18".

I got my Pool Wars book by Jay last night. Added to my previous post of my signed Encyclopedia of Pool Hustlers.
 
I got a new 2X4 Case and a My new Lucasi Sneaky Pete with the Hybrid zero flex slim shaft.

I have a Joss, and wasn't expecting anything pool related for Christmas. Surprise Surprise
 
My Wife bought me a new Predator BK2 and also the Pred Air 2 jump cue to match. She loves me. Those were my Christmas presents.

If I had a pool room, I would make a large print of this painting and hang it proudly.

After all, Van Gogh was a unique character who would fit in with pool just right.

It is now suggested that "Vince" really didn't cut off his own ear but lost the ear in a fencing fight that he started with his good friend Paul Gauguin and that "Vince" made up the story to cover for his good friend, Paul.

But most of you already know that "rest of the story".

I got a new cue for myself ( without permission )and my wife gave me a gun and 1 bullet. Now I have a decision to make...
 
My daughter bought me the "Color of Money" hardback novel by Walter Tevis. After reading a post from Jay comparing the book to the movie, it got on my Christmas list.

Tom Cruise's character wasn't in the book. In fact, the only thing the book and movie had in common was the title. I thought the book was great, the movie not so much. :barf:
 
Nothing this year. Over the last couple of Christmases I got a new case and break cue, so there wasn't any pressing need.

However, going into Fathers Day, I think I'm gonna petition for Mark Wilson's book, in lieu of the usual stuff.
