I think so too, but I'll bet you got some cool stories in the snooker arena. Snooker had its share of fun players too. ;)

When I'm finished my collection of stories, I will be sure to send you a copy. I'm tiring of listening to these young bucks say how great pool players are today compared to yesteryear. They don't have a clue, and now I just might have the fire in my engine to follow through and finish what I started 7 years ago. I intend to prove it! :grin-square:

One more thing. You need to get a picture of yourself and place it on the Wikipedia article.

If interested, PM me your e-mail address, and I will PM you mine. Then you can e-mail me the photo. It must be high quality, preferably a picture of you shooting snooker would be best. Also, it has to be YOUR picture and not one that somebody else has rights to. Think about it! :)

What is your point? He's never come on this forum boasting about how today's players are better than players from yesteryear, now, has he? In fact, he's a gentleman who has respect for pool players of all ages. I wish I could say that about all of today's players, young or old.

he came on here woofing at John Schmidt (one of the classiest players around) out of nowhere wanting to play an all around and then proceeded to bash him for not wanting to play the same games as he did. But, since myself and a few of the other posters' that you dislike backed John and spoke out against Quinten you decided to side with him.

Even though you speak out against foreign and snooker players all the time, (mostly because you were in arguments with Roy and TheOne) you side with Quinten because I said something to him in this thread, lmao.

Corvette, you continue to stalk me on threads, trying to provoke fights, create harassment, made rude statements about me personally which are not only problematic, but they are against the forum rules. Most people know that you have been banned previously from this forum under two other identities: The Babys Arm and Tommy UGA. Everybody knows it, but you won't admit it.

I have no way to prove you wrong, but I believe you to, once again, be telling an untruth. I have been good friends with Smorgie for years on the Internet. He has called my home via phone, and he used to talk with my boyfriend in LIVE CHAT almost every Sunday morning, where I would also interact with him. In my opinion, this is the worst thing you have done to me on this forum, all for the sole reason to harass me. You must be quite desparate to go to this extreme because I beleive it's a lie. You won't smear my memories of Smorgie, no matter how hard you try to cause anger and/or hurt with me on this forum.

As far as what you've paid off on Internet bets, that doesn't mean a hill of beans to me. You seem to think money makes a better person.

In my experience, I have formed an opinion that it is those who brag about money non-stop that seem to suffer from having an inferiority complex; thus, the need to make themselves appear as if they are better than others.

What difference does it make if my credit rating is higher than yours, that my house is bigger than yours, and that I make more money per annum than you do? None whatsoever, even though it's the truth.

This is a pool forum. I continue to contribute pool-related subject matter to this forum, since 2003. I suggest you try to do the same.

Its a miracle this thread is still alive.

I do think its unfair to say that SW is the one who keeps bringing this topic up. Many posters here, myself included, have gotten weary of the DP news machine posting in the main forum without dealing with the issue. Seeing CW around a bunch of female pool players is disturbing until this issue gets resolved.

I also don't think men realize how bad this kind of thing upsets women. We're men, we always think we can beat the shit out of someone or get a gun if someone truly does us a grave wrong. Its sounds easy to just call police, but that involves a big ordeal too for someone who is already upset.

99% of my friends would go absolutely berserk if this happened to a female family member or wife/girlfriend.
 
Not mentioning any names, but why is it that there is a constant disagreement between certain persons on this forum no matter what the topic of discussion is?

I don't know or care about any of the grist that you two are grinding but I can go on record: SmorgassBored like JAM, very much.

If Doug said anything negative about JAM, it was probably a red herring or some type of ploy to get someone to open up about their true feelings and even then, I doubt it.

Doug and I talked about MANY of the forum members in detail on a regular basis. While we shared our most intimate perspectives about members, we agreed to keep the negative perspectives out of play and that pact remains intact. Every poster has value until they cross the line, then they get to see the ban-master. That doesn't happen as much any more and I'm glad that is the norm.

Doug didn't agree with everything that was posted on this forum but he also didn't like to create enemies but he almost always knew which side of the fence that you sat before he even spoke to you. He did have a few run-ins with a few posters but that didn't stop him from being Doug, the most well-liked poster in AZ Billiards history.

Doug liked JAM; of that I'm positive.
