What is the most balls made on the break?

You'd actually be surprised at how little storage posts takes up. It's all in SQL databases. I run some fairly large automotive forums with more posts and users than here and It's not a problem. Avatars etc.. actually consume more bandwidth. Anyway sorry to go off topic.
 
I've made 6 on the break in 9 ball on an 8ft once. I've made five many times on 7,8 and 9ft. It comes in streaks it seems though.

I was gambling with Keith McCready in Reno when I was 17 playing nineball, this was in 1997. He was spotting me the 5 and breaks for $40 a game and I made 7 on the break including the nine about a half hour into it. He starting muttering about "this kids got a monster break", several breaks later, a little pumped up from hearing him say that I launched the cueball off the side of the one and right into his crotch, it was a moment I'll never forget.

I heard that in the '50's a guy made all nine on the break and I'm sure it's happened since then. Makes me want to break a couple hours a day until I get all nine on camera....hmmm... am I crazy enough to do it though and what are the odds?

The most I witnessed

I most balls on the break of 9 ball that I have witnessed was 6.

I happened to be live streaming the event and it was recorded.

I just happens that yesterday I dug up that footage and did a little creative editing. It is now posted on YouTube.

I've made 6 playing 8-ball. No big deal.

I've broke and made the 8-ball playing 8-ball four times in a row on a bar box.
 
This pasted thursday nite I made 6 in 9ball then i made 7 in 10 ball .. Both times i had a shot on the next ball for the runnout ..
 
Ive made 6 on the bar table and hear rumors Buddy Hall made all 9 years ago. Hes kind of a legend around our parts.
 
I don't have all that strong a break, but I made 5 (including the 9) in Vegas at APA Nationals last year on a Valley bar box.

The guy I was playing needed 7 balls, I needed 39. He missed the 9...I made it, broke, made the 5 balls (including the 9) and got out from there. I guess that is the only reason I remember it...I don't remember all that much any more.

So I asked Shane Johnson (cuephoric) and he said he has video of a guy making 7 balls. In nine ball, I have seen 6 balls go in from the break including the 9
 
I made 7 one time in a very small local tournament. Just stood there with my mouth hanging open, for 2 reasons, (1) that 7 balls were down, and (2) the 9 ball was blocking the only other ball on the table and I lost the game lol. Was on a 9 footer. For reference I am an APA 7.
 
Buddy Hall, now I would believe that....

Can Buddy Hall weigh in on whether he made all 9? How about anyone who saw this? I have heard that he made (correct me if I'm wrong) the 9 on the snap 6 times, then nearly missed with the 9, then made another, so almost making the 9 EIGHT times in a row. Buddy, you out there???
 
The most I made on 9-ball rack was 6 balls, and the good story ended right there as I was solidly hooked from the lowest numbered ball. I've only done it once; I've witnessed 5 or 6 balls on the break many times, however.
