I keep hearing of Azers having other names and just heard that one got a promotion to Sarg at Arms. What does that mean? what does he have to do? does he get paid more? Have wondered about this a couple times but never bothered to ask. Also how many members are there?

The Lock Society is a group of people who share the same interest in pool. An exact number of members is hard to give you at this point because it grows so fast. It is not about pay either. The Lock Society is like a large family of pool players that teach, and help the pool world as much as they can. If you need to know more, just search Lock Society on AZB. Its kind of like the Skull & Bones society. They have a lot of secret powers...and a secret handshake too.
 
Yes, the secret powers come in handy. I can put a small mini curse on my opponents balls.

The Lock Society originated in NO and it has been rumored that Marie Laveau
was once a member.

Tell em about it Richie! I have not heard from you in a while. Are you OK? The Lock Society Lives and it is all pool related. It is a Society of pool players with a common interest. We play pool real good too. And we are all over everywhere, from Coast to Coast and out of the USA.

One requirement

One consideration is how does your lady (wife or girlfriend ) treat you ? Is it apparent that she is in charge or are you the MAN !! I guess we could have a member called Whooped-Lock or Locked and Told .Sorry ,I know that parts a bit off topic . The Lock Society is a growing society of Pool Players who have been "given" a name ,earned ,or honorary. I'm sure as we grow we are going to have to have a membership form or initiation .

I can put a curse on my opponents balls too. With a few words, all his balls disappear and I'm racking, lol. Maybe I better re-think my spell, lol.

I have been hazed by the best of em .On a good day I get hazed into perfect balance.:D I wish you could of been there back in 1989 when I first walked into a 12 step meeting ,less than 20 yrs old,less than 120 lbs .People were rather harsh on ol Matt ."Grow up or die !" "What was your drug of choice ? Milk and Cookies ?" I reckon some of there hazing was out of love and not wanting to see a young man ruin his up coming life .I'm glad they did what they did and said the seemingly harsh things they said .People don't realize each day of life is full of small miracles ,I can go play pool or sell a van for a stack of cash and not even once think about using drugs .I really think alot of people need more hazing and tough love but sadly this world and alot of the 12 step programs out there have gotten way too politically correct to make an impression on those with hard heads like myself.Sorry to ramble :cool: Haze on !!
