What single shot have you practiced the most?

The one shot I likely practice the most is the straight in shot. I always start my practices with straight in shots with the cue ball at one corner just off the rail and the object ball 3/4 of the way to the opposing corner pocket diagonally across the table. Both ball spots are marked. Five racks. Helps my stance, stroke and aim which in turn helps all of my other shots.

Thanks.

Long straight in blue ball on a 12" snooker table from the baulk line. Hit that shot repeatedly for about 8hrs back in the day when coffee came with free refills and cigarettes were cheap.

Straight in, draw back. OB at 2 diamonds up, 1 diamond out of the corner pocket; CB 3-4 diamonds back.

Never miss it in practice; rarely make it in a game.

45 degree long cut, down the long rails (varying distances from rail).
I practice this quite often just before League commences.

Probably any bank shot because I like to bank...as for what I "should" practice I would say long distance draw shots, as well as playing off the rail.

practice shot

long, straight in shots with OB equi-distant <SP?> from CB and pocket. Shoot 2 racks of stop shots, then 2 racks drawing back to the rail, then 2 racks stun/run through to the pocket without scratching. After that its time for a bud lite...

What is the shot?
How often did you/do you practice it? For how long?

Balls about 1/2 to 2 inches along the side rail between the corner pocket and side pocket. I shoot these from all angles and distances. They seem to be a shot that can be missed even when you are in stroke and hitting balls good. I do this for at least a little while every practice session.

Put one OB in the smack middle of the table. Shoot it straight into the corner. Keep shooting it over and over while each time backing up the CB until it's an inch from falling in the corner pocket.

It's the longest straight in shot there is, and it gives great feedback where you're at.

Lately I've been practicing a lot of spot shots, jacked up about 30 to 45 degrees shooting off the side rail. The jacked up shot is one of pool's most difficult shots that takes an almost perfect stroke. I practice them until I make 3 or 4 in a row, usually about 10 to minutes at a time.

The classic one pocket shot..

I shoot the classic one pocket shot of cross corner bank.

Spot shots, and spot shots with 2 balls.

Ken

The break I finish every practice with 15 consecutive break shots..

If you are only going to practice one shot then you might as well practice the only one guaranteed to come up ever single rack.

Spot shots rotating from side to side- cb has to end up back in kitchen
Shoot next shot from where cb ends up.

Table length thin cuts

Cuts down long rail w outside. My most frustrating shot.
Balls I am 99% on w inside or ctr ball,I am maybe 80 % on w outside.

Hmm.. which shots do I practice most?

Long stop shots, long draw shots, banks, and kicks and I do all of these for hours on end.

Long rail cuts at steeper than 60 degree angles. Also, long, straight in, corner to corner shots.
