Pushout said:I've "met" and seen Grady several times and he was never anything but professional. I've also met Janette Lee and heard tons of other people say great things about her. However, MULLY and his wife had a very negative experience trying to meet her. You may have caught him on a bad day. Hard to say.

I met so many over the years...some liked me, most dont. I keep in touch with the good ones while I lost contact with some who I thought were tight but picked a different path, so be it.
Nostroke said:Negative w Jeanette? No one works the room better than JL. Very surprised there was even the perception of a negative experience with her.

Rest easy big guy. If I hadn't already met you at DCC you would have made my list.
Mike Templeton said:Hey Jon,
Hope I can get away with this. My Son-In-Law graduated from Florida, so I've been converted to a Gator fan. Here's my Grandson at the Tailgate last weekend in Knoxville. Check out the shirt. He got his picture taken about 1000 times.

Hey Joey that hot head from England is Quentin Hann who is from Australia but I remember that woofing match and we all kinda wanted to see something come out of that. Quentin is a interesting guy that's for sure. Plays great though.JoeyA said:I've met a lot of AZBers to date and look forward to meeting more in the future. It's always fun to meet up with AZBers but I really like meeting them in my home town or if I am just passing through another town when I have the time to get to know them.
If I meet an AZBer at a tournament, I have "tournament issues" on the brain and I try hard not to get too involved with anyone else except my personal issues. So, if you do say hello at one of the tournaments I attend, please don't take any appearance of indifference personally. It's a personal tournament thing.
I think the AZBers that I am most likely not going to meet anytime soon are the ones who hold my interest the most. BigSkyJake, Roy from Norway (I can see him wearing one of those big yellow raincoats on the old sardine cans), Doug Gordon, Colin Colenso and that hot head from England who wanted to play John Schmidt. I like (interesting) characters and all of these people are unique individuals. If I went over a list of people who I would like to meet it would take too much time to write them all down. Oh yeah, that reminds, me FATBOY would have to be on that list.
One Day,

'Ol Russ is riding down with me Saturday.......you think we can talk him into helping us put the extra brew away?Mike Templeton said:Now you will probably put a 7 pack on me this weekend.Or we can call a truce and drink a 7 pack. I enjoy the tournaments at Diamonds.
