Large Case

I own about 5 cases, but use my 4 X 8 most of the time. My husband and I carry both our playing cues and break cues in this one case.

Easier to put everything in one case for our night playing APA matches.

Is there any way to add: 1x1, 2x2, 3x7, and 4x8???

They seem to be the most popular cases omitted from this poll.

2X4 is by far the most common over all I'd say.

If I only had one case it would be a 2x4.

Daily tho it varies. For casual play at a hall I usually bring a cheap (porper) 2x2 or sometimes just a 1x2 (cue w/shaft & jumpshaft w/handle in pocket). Any kind of busy Tourny either a cheapish leather 4X2 or if it's far from home then maybe a 6x3.

Only from time to time will I bring one of the high end customs to a hall. I hate the smell many halls 'do' to my cases , theft and damage also not worth the risk in some places.

Right now I have a 3x6 porper square which I really like, but I am going to get a 4x8 porper at some point. I have a couple playing cues, my Scruggs sneaky, and my Joss sneaky. I also have my j/b cue, and a Jacoby jump cue. So I need the space for all those, and on occasion I will buy and sell a cue or two, so I need the space, Im not showing off for anyone, it just practical.

Case

I have owned all types of cases and my Favorite is a 4x8 case. I don't have one at this moment because I sold the one I had but I do have a few 1x1 1x2 2x4 and my everyday case is a Original Instoke 3x7.
I think if you don't mind carrying the 4x8 you should always have whatever cue you need for any situation Players,Break,Jump,Spare.

Just my .02

Thanks......Paul

I have a 3x5 which hold my shooting cue w/ 2 shafts, break cue w/ 2 shafts (1 phenolic tip, 1 compressed leather), and my jump cue. I cut a spacer from a wooden dowel so that the jump cue butt doesn't slide all over the place. Saves the outside side pocket for pens and quarter rolls.

I have a beautiful real Python Fanelli style Engles 1x2 that I love, but I can't stand not carying my break cue as well . . . 2x4 for me.

3x7

I tote a 3x7 hard tube monster most of the time because I often carry other people's cues around. I favor a smaller soft case and will be buying one of the heavily padded soft cases in one by two or two by four configuration before too long. A cut up and hand sewn old blanket worked just fine for me years ago. Now I want a little more protection for cues.

My 3x4 is the right one for me as an everyday case... saves me the trouble of bringing a larger case (3x6) just to accommodate another cue
