As I was sorting through some old pool photos this morning, I ran across one of my favorite shots of Billy Burge and he wasn't playing pool at the time. He is sitting, pensively, during the 1986 Clyde Childress Memorial tournament in Lexington, KY. It occured to me that it might be fun to pose the question, "What's he thinking?"

It really don't matter who wins to me. I'm getting 10% of the action from both sides.

He was thinking "Boy... once I was just a poor mountaineer, barely keeping my family fed... then one day, I was shooting at some food, and up through the ground came a bubblin' crude! And where the hell is my hat...?"

he's thinking...I can't believe this guy missed that shot, or how about those dymonwood joint protectors
 
Maybe he's thinking, "If I had just stayed in school I might have been a successful dentist by now!":D :D
 
nah, He's saying....look at all these young kids playing 1pocket!!....they stole EVERY shot from me! :D

and....Grady is the only one that can make my impossible no kiss cross corner bank!;)

Eewwwww...

He's looking over at another table where someone is bent over and he's regretting the view of the "Grand Canyon".
 
He's saying; "Man, I wonder how Bucktooth gets all those chumps and I have to give up the world when I play".:D
 
If he's anything like me, he's thinking about some honey and not even paying attention to the game. :p
