Honestly, I didn't get into that - I don't know what the timing was but I think he regretted the whole mess and had counted on getting the paypal money from his mom.

I just got off the phone with Almostgood (Frank) he called me and I have the tracking number. The cue is in FedEx's possession and is shipped.
He apologized and is embarassed about the whole thing. Buying the other cue was just a timing thing. He had bought the other cue with funds (plus he had plus some paypal money) and had left the shipping funds in his mom's account - then his mom had the overdraft - actually a debit card charge - bottom line is he didn't have enough to cover the shipping.
Almostgood doesn't have a computer/internet at home, so he posts from a friend's house or the library. He was avoiding UKPooladdict, hoping for some work to come in. Anyway, I believe him - he's been very upfront with me and is a very likable young man. I believe he had no intention of ripping off anybody - the cue has been packed in his own packaging and he was just trying to get enough money together to ship it.
Anyway I have UKPooladdict's shipping info as well - so the case should be over here pretty soon.

I have no excuse except bad luck. I want to publicly apologize to Ukpooladdict and everyone else. Huge thanks to TATE. Ill send you the shipping money via money order on friday. Pm me where exactly. I am sorry everyone and hope you see through this bad luck situation we all have experienced in a game of pool.

Hopefully you can put this behind you, and be more upfront in the future. We all make mistakes, the real test comes in how we handle them. I believe you probably realize avoiding UK wasn't the smartest way to handle this, and hindsight is always 20/20. Almost anyone will be reasonable and understanding when given the whole story, as opposed to feeling they are getting the run-around.
Best of luck in getting things turned around. Be extra sure to get Tate taken care of in a timely fashion and perhaps karma might smile upon you soon. It's a first step, at least.

Great news that it all appears to be resolved, the kid just needs to realise that it's always better to take your medicine than try avoiding people. He should be embarressed but lets not hang him for his crime, maybe just needs probabtion

Words can be deciving ... but actions always speak the truth.
So broke he could not pay shipping ... because he spent all his allowance on another cue? Words cant cover that one ... :shrug: ...
The only reason the cue is being sent (another future event) is because of the fuss raised here on the forum. I bet some of his pool room friends read AZ and were giving him greif also.
