Gus is still my all time favorite cue maker, I'm kinda in a awakeard spot using that cue, Barry is my friend and feel like I should be playing with a Gus or Barry. Got to give Tony credit though he builds one hell of a cue too. This particular cue is exceptional in how it plays. I dont like the attention it attracts, I love owning fancy cues but until this cue pretty much played with a plane jane looking cue, when I got this cue I never intended on using it as a player-but i have to, I play better with it.

I also use the Sugartree as a player not just a break cue-I take it to Europe etc, I dont like to travel with a Gus or big $$ cue.

I've got a stealthy six point Scruggs Tulipwood cue for ya. Just Tulipwood into BEM, leather wrap, phenolic joint and butt cap Tulipwood butt sleeve. Real plain jane.

I'll trade even up for that gaudy BB. Should make you feel at least a little better!;)

as for the cue, yeah I high rolled the deal as I knew it was worth more than $2500 someday soon. biz is biz, nothing personal. Its a dandy of a cue, i didnt mean to cause a problem, i didnt know what other deal was existing on the cue to the best of my recollection, i aint going to read that thread. i plead the 5th.

anyone want to buy it for $3,000?...:thumbup: j/k i'm keeping it.
 
I Love that blackboar with the snakewood and ebony. I eyed that when cornerstone cues had it and wanted won made similar to it.

Thanks, all your AZ friends appreciate your characterization, generalization, ....(if you know what that means). As I've said to others, this place isn't for everyone, if you don't like it, FINE!!! There are other pool message boards out there. Find one that suits you, and quit complaining about this one.

You realize that some of us have been around long enough to recognize what's true and what isn't? You want us to believe you never cared about your rep ranking? Give me a break. Most anyone who's read your posts can give a qualified analysis of your personality...and you never gave a shit about Doug, you just wanted REP from Doug's friends. I fell into that trap for a while, but your true colors shone through rather quickly. I would rather fall to number 500 in the rep ranking than continue to pretend to be your friend.

One of my friend said he knew a guy that he works with brings a bottle of peppercorn (fresh green ones that are in like oil or pickled) on him where ever he goes because he likes fresh pepper lol

Not all of it is bad... just most of your 6700+ self-aggrandizing posts on this forum you apparently hate so much.

What I'd like to know is with all the private pool lessons you've been taking, are you actually going to get in the box and match up with someone publicly (without Artie coaching you in 1-pocket) or do we still have to be subjected to more hot air..? No 3-barrel shots either. :D

Of course, the real tragedy is that there's people on this forum who actually think you know something about pool.

This is certainly not a response that I expected from you.

You should really go read that thread. Here's a synopsis.

1. panhdlce agrees to sell cue to UGOTDA7
2. UGOTDA7 jumps through hoops to send out bank check ASAP. ($50 cost)
3. UGOTDA7 tells panhdlce that check is enroute and confirmation is made and that cue is packaged up and ready to ship.
4. panhdlce then says that YOU want to buy the cue for 2,500 and he offers to split the profit with UGOTDA7. panhdlce then vanishes for several days.
5. When he surfaces.....now the cue was "demo'd" and "damaged", so panhdlce returns the money.
6. UGOTDA7 calls BS (which was obvious) and panhdlce squirms and squeeks and gets ugly, calling many AZers names.
7. The "damaged" cue then shows up in a " What's in the case Fat Boy?" thread video.

panhdlce is "BUSTED".

What's going on here buddy? Why the gasket blow? :confused:
