What's your fav. table?

Basically this will probably come down to GC v. Diamond. Both are great tables with some difference in the way they play, mainly related to the dynamics of pocket shelf depth and primarily a matter of preference and not fact that one is better than the other.

Set up properly, I prefer the way a GC plays, though I wouldn't kick the Diamond out of bed for eating crackers. :grin-square:

I don't play anymore but I think you need to know all brands of tables. If you're going to travel a bit you need to know them all and be able to adopt to them quickly. Johnnyt

Brunswick Kling with the ball return.

Nothing modern comes close to that for me.

^^^this sums it up perfectly!

I'm a complete sucker for a well conditioned 9ft. Gold Crown with ball return and green felt!!:grin-square:
Diamonds are great too tho...

i like gc 1 best

then the other great brunswick tables
centenniel, anniversary, sport king and then the antiques

too old to adjust to the diamonds, short banking, funny pockets etc
i am told they have corrected these issues but i don't know

Unfortunately it's not made anymore, but the old Gandy Big G with the center ball return was the all time best. Underneath was a series of PVC type material ball return tunnels that made the ball return absolutely silent, way better than any of today's, which return the balls down under the rails.

Those Big G's did play well indeed!...I learned to play on one.
