I was really surprised the other day when I noticed all of the activity on the Wanted/For Sale section of this forum. It had more people reading that section than the Main Forum.

Of course, there's quite a few AzB-ers who prefer the Action section of this forum, and we all know how popular the NPR (Non-Pool-Related section) is.

Both the Tournament Announcement section as well as the Cues section get their fair share of attention on a daily basis, and there are some sections which get little to no activity. The Ask the Pro section seems to not be as popular as it once was when it was first created, as one example.

This is another one of those doggone pool polls, and it is a blind poll, so lurkers can feel free to vote in comfort without blowing their cover. :ok:

Which section of AzBilliards Forum is your favorite? Where do you spend the most time, IOW?

Main Forum, first and foremost.

Then it's Ask The Instructors. I check both of these everytime I come here.

Occasionally scan through the For Sale/raffles, and once and while I'll even dare to step into the NPR abyss.

Gosh, I didn't even know there was an Ask the Instructors. Wow! :o

I just realized that having this poll thread in the Main Section may not be representative of the forum as a whole. There may be some members who probably won't vote because they don't come to the Main Section very often to read. :p

And I just realized that I forgto to add that I will occasionally swing throught The Action Room, if only to see what Dippy or bartrum are up to... :p

For the most part I just click the new button on the main heading bar. It gives me a good selection of everything, but my top 4 are:

1. main forum
2. action room
3. 14.1
4. wanted/for sale

Mine is probably a 3-way tie between the Main Forum, Wanted/For Sale, and the Cue and Case Gallery.

These are pretty much my main three sections as well. I will also occasionally stop at the 14.1, ask the instructor, and ask the cuemaker sections. Those six encompass about 99% of my AZ forum experience.

How interesting that our reading is so varied. I guess my order of reading would be this:
(1) Main Forum
(2) Tournament Announcements
(3) NPR

I like to view posts in the cue/case gallery. People have some really cool stuff, and they are enthusiastic about showing something they are proud of and get enjoyment from.

I usually hit the new post button, but that has led to several threads in NPR. Every time I go there I regret it, such childish bickering, and mindless cut and paste BS. Is there a way to search all new posts except NPR?

Overall AZ is a great forum, but NPR brings it down several notches.

I like the Wanted/For Sale, Action, and Ask The Cuemaker .

Ok I will give it a go.

1. Main forum
2. Wanted/for sale
3. TIE-----Live stream and Cue and Case Gallery.
4. Talk to a Machanic
5. Billiard and Pool History in the U.S.

I have never ventured into the NPR(too sceered).

I'm into cue and case gallery, main forum NPR and Wanted for sale.
No particular order, depends on how i feel that day.

I love the cuemaker section.

Cues and the way they are made, style, art, function, etc is a bigger fascination to me than the game itself!

I absolutely HATE the Wanted/For Sale section. I wish Mike would take it off the forum. Every time I take a peek inside that section, I feel my wallet start to get lighter :o:grin::grin::grin:!!!

For me:
a. I check out the action forum briefly to see if anything new sprung up
b. Check the tournament section for tournaments around here
c. Hit up the main forum to see if any threads are hot
d. Sometimes hit the wanted/for sale. It surprises me how fast posts fall off the 1st page.

A few years ago my priorities were different and I think I spent more time reading this forum and would spend most time in main.
