good for them if everything's kosher and they're an item. if it's a mentorship, then she's a lucky girl to be under that wing.

I don't think she is 18, but then it's between her, him and her parents. I don't know of any parent that would have their girl hang around a much older man without supervision without approval, and I did not see any other grown-ups around her behind Shane's seat. And without knowing what is going on, it's all speculation. They sure did not act like a couple though, if my girlfriend just won a major tournament, and matched a record at that, there would be quite a bit of hugging and kissing going on.

Being at the open I watched shane in 3 matches and the young lady in question was usually accompanied by a older gentlemen who I believe was her Father and they were in Shane's corner usually. Everyone needs to calm down. :thumbup:
 
Besides being a damn good pool player, Shane is a good man with his head on straight. He is financially successful and is preparing well for his future after pool. A girl could do a lot worse than landing a guy like Shane. And I think her family realizes that as well.
