Where did you get your AZ Handle?

When i first learned about this forum I didnt expect to be posting as much as I have or to be so involved with things. I have gained many a friend in the pool world amateur and pro alike because of these forums. I have done and seen things in the pool world some could only dream for (World Straight Pool Championships, upcoming SBE 14.1 Challenge.

My original thought was to simply be a ghost and just flit in and out when necessary but you guys and gals have become a second family and i know that when i log on Im home.

Mid 80's playing some straight pool with a friend from Ohio. He say's"Hey,who you think you are Minnesota Fat's?" I laughed and said," No! I'm a CoonAss from Louisiana!" He quipped," CoonAss Fat's!" I said,"Great! Now every kid in the world will think I can really play pool!" I proceeded to run 55 and out on him. I didn't start using the moniker again until the mid 90's when I would match up with RuntheCentury aka (Tuna). Today,I have a yahoo account with cajunfats@yahoo.com,so I guess it stuck. At my age I need something easy to remember.:grin:
 
I fish in bass tournaments and my fishing partner starting calling me a fishless bassterd, so I just kept the "fishless' part...
 
I have an affinity for kicking at balls, hence Kickin' Chicken.

Also, I have from time to time been referred to has 'Sir Banksalot' and 'Doughboy'.

Otherwise, Brian will do just fine.

Big Wave Dave was a guy on a California surfing sitcon that aired about 15-20 yrs ago. Ran all of 3 of 4 episodes...lol. My kids started calling me big wave so I've used it ever since.

I used to work for the Corporate office of a Restaurant chain called "Mexicali Rosa's" here in Canada. So everyone called me "Meximan" the 2469 is just something friends of mine and I have used since high school at the end of our handles. It really has nothing to do with pool, but I use it for everything else so why not.

I go fishing with a guy nicked named 'FISHKING'. He runs the boat and has the graph and the new water-I'm the back seater. So I understand the 'fishless' thing. I buy all the new plastics and all that-no help. I only catch 'suidical fish' while dead stickin while lighting a smoke. Let em go anyway.

My fishing nickname is 'birdsnest'. Took me 3 years to learn to throw a baitcaster.

Lot of fun though.

Handle

In football I played defensive middle guard in a 3-5-3 set. My freshman football coach said "That Drew goes through the line like a demon" Some of the players heard it and started calling me Demon Drew. It sort of stuck. . .

my handle....

I wish I could say mine was a reference to my " eagle like vision " I have when I drop down over a shot....but just not so.... When I was younger, I was in scouting and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. I just developed a love for them over time and eventually began buying any and all of them I could find. Now my house is covered in them, including my pool room.
