Where did you get your AZ Handle?

I had to pick a username for a gaming website called Playsite.com. Looks like now it could have been bought out by Iwin.com since playsite.com is no longer working. I used to play a online games like hearts, chess, checkers when I was not shooting pool at the University of Washington...yes I got some studying in too. All the usernames I wanted were taken so I thought up UWPoolGod, since I was the best at UW at the time. I started using is as my username for alot of my sites. I had to add the '1' on the end here because I messed up my original registration.

Billy jack was my DJ handle from back in the 70's when I played Disco and Oldies at local clubs:actually just a condensed version of my given name. When I furnished music for one of our pool nights, I brought a bunch of Cd's labeled "Billy jack Gold", and the name stuck with all my pool buddies. I leave the caps out in respect for the one true Billy Jack-Tom Laughlin. At this stage in life I could only manage to kick you in the jaw if you were already on the floor.
Bill

My initials combined with my old car...a 1972 Porsche 911S. It currently resides in Istanbul, passed along to a good friend who lives there. Why? Got tired of the car clubs scene...

I drive and sell rear wheel drive japanese cars for a hobby. one of my favorite cars and also my current daily driver is a nissan 240sx. the s13 is the chasis code for the first generation 240 and silvia's and my cars engine is the ka24de , or 2.4 liter double cam engine. so s13_ka24de .. i'm also an ae86 fan and i own a z32 300zx , to name a few.. i normally use the handle joe_and_roxanne on all my car forums (for me and my fiancee), but thought that since this is the only non car forum i'm on, I would change it up and use something that didn't relate to this site.

When we first bought a computer in the mid-1990's, people often used their names for an e-mail address. I had done that and wanted something different. I was toying around with trying to find a new name for my e-mail address, but nothing was available. So, I made some frustrated comment about how I was "just piddlin' around" and it shouldn't be so hard to find a new username. Having been knee deep in genealogy research, I knew I had hillbilly roots, so I spelled it "JesPiddlin" and it was available. I took it and I've used it for practically everything I do, ever since. Even started a business with the name, at one point. Now, it's almost more "me" than my name.

Screen name

A pretty major accomplishment during my career, combined with part of my name. Pretty unoriginal huh.

My grandpa recently passed away from cancer.

My handle is the initials of my name.

Everybody in the pool world knows me as "Jam" today, but my real name is Jennie. I don't mind being called "Jam," though, because one of my true passions in life is music, and I do like to jam. ;)

Every holiday, my family gets together and plays music. I play keyboard and banjo. My family loves bluegrass and old country, like Hank Williams, Sr., and I know every single Hank Williams, Sr., song by heart. :D

Ironically, our best song together is an old Hank Williams tune called Jambayala: :D

Jambalaya, a-crawfish pie and-a file gumbo
'Cause tonight I'm gonna see my ma cher amio
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-oh
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou.

My grandpa or I should say my papaw, recently passed away form cancer, but he was one of teh best bluegrass dobro players and one of only a handful of bands that weren'y unionized that played at the grand ole opry. They're trying to have him inducted into the bluegrass hall of fame as he played bluegrass all over the south and then in the west in his declining years for 60 years.

Last name is too hard to pronounce. Players just started calling me Mr. G or Randyg. My close friends call me POPS.

Randy Goettlicher
Dallas, Texas

A co-worker found out that I like to shoot pool and asked me all kinds of questions about the game - rules, equipment, players, history, etc. Most of the questions were basic for anyone here on this forum but this guy thought I was some sort of whiz-bang knowledgable dude. Afterward he started calling me Ernie "the 8-ball Einstein. I've had other nicknames but this one I kinda liked. It hasn't caught on with the people I play with and is only known to a handful of players in my area.

What was his name? I follow bluegrass somewhat.

I had to settle for Voodoo Daddy because 8-Ball Bernie and Silver wombat were taken  !!

My screen name roots back to a sicker time of life, when I was a out of control lunatic. Now...I'm just a lunatic :D !!
