Where did you get your AZ Handle?

I was a long haul truck driver for 20 some years. The first 9 years I was a stick hauler, drove a One Stack Mack that had a propensity to break down, therefor it seemed I was always arriving late. Even if I left a few days early I would end up late.

Got into a Peter Eater in the late 80's and was gone with the wind! Unfortunately the name stuck.

There has been a lot of discussions if you should use an anonymous or not but IMHO there are enough unstable people banging on keyboards, I would rather not be an easy target for some bi-polar whatever!!!
Remember when one of our members got involved in a flame war and the other party called his company and *****ed to his boss trying to get him fired.... Hello

I'm not that hard to find anyway but it's instinct to dodge the radar!!!!

no-sho

My name is Eric and I am easy to beat. Contrary to popular belief, it has absolutely nothing to do with my Gangsta' Rap days.

I was drunk when I signed up for my first forum ever .... and it kinda just stuck... now its used on a few different forums all over the net....and has become my online handle.

Smoke and a pancake .. actualy is a line from Goldmember of Austin Powers Fame

It would be too difficult to explain where I got my handle from, but the moniker underneath it,(batman), was given to me by Chip Klein who was a good friend of mine before he moved away from San Diego. HE gave it to me not long after we first met because I always wore super hero T-shirts and I used to wear a black one with a yellow batman logo on it. So when he was talking to other players about me he would say "Batman, you know the one who always wears the super hero t shirts.

I remember Chip saying that to me, lol:) . Wish he'd move back to SD:( .

My name is Hilary. Hill is common on websites/e-mails so I used hilla hilla which is what a couple of guys called me (amongst some other names):D :D :D .

Thirty years ago, when all I was doing was running around Houston playing pool, I could sit on the rail for two days or more until a game can along that I liked. Never took a game I didn't think I could win. Just waited 'em out.

One loud mouth player started calling me "The Stone Cold Nuts". It got shortened to "Stoney" and then, finally, "Stones".

Stones

Years ago, it was said that if they hung in their for 18 hours, they were mine.
I played a multitude of 24-36 hour matches. I didn't dodge many games. Either you came to play, or, you were a nit.

Mine isn't so nice.

When signing up for this "online pool forum" back in 2003, I expected the chatter to be a bunch of blah blah blah.

I mean seriously, a bunch of poolplayers (read: mostly liars anyway) talking about pool, without ever having to show anything because it's not only online but anonymous? So I didn't have any high expectations when I registered.

My handle is the initials of my name.

Everybody in the pool world knows me as "Jam" today, but my real name is Jennie. I don't mind being called "Jam," though, because one of my true passions in life is music, and I do like to jam. ;)

Every holiday, my family gets together and plays music. I play keyboard and banjo. My family loves bluegrass and old country, like Hank Williams, Sr., and I know every single Hank Williams, Sr., song by heart. :D

Ironically, our best song together is an old Hank Williams tune called Jambayala: :D

Jambalaya, a-crawfish pie and-a file gumbo
'Cause tonight I'm gonna see my ma cher amio
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-oh
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou.

Scaramouche was written by Rafael Sabatini. You can download it here

http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/1947

His description of Scaramouche is my signature line.

It seemed particularly suitable here on an American site where many posters don't want to learn and don't want a national governing body, but endlessly complain about deficiencies that are the natural consequences of their attitudes.:D :D :D

Boring

1st initial of 1st name, 1st initial of last name and the game we all love. Been using it online for 10-15 years. Like I said, BORING!!! :)

My first 10 tries were all taken, I tried to get something with Tom in it, but could not find any open so I like to play pool and poker, it was not taken, so its me now.

The name of my company. But the thing is, I just sold it and the name will be changing. Now what? Part of me wants to think of a new name, but then no one will know who I am or where to find me!

When I first starting teaching I asked to join the faculty
basketball team.
When they asked if I could play, I said "just like Hondo Havlicek."
They've called me "Hondo" since then.
