Where is best pool room in Maryland area?

We're looking for best pool room in Maryland area for not only practicing and hanging out, but for a little action from time to time if one is so inclined. Most of the pool rooms in the D.C. area have vanished.

We're not looking for a bar, so to speak, with loud music and sports TVs. We're looking for a pool room with serious-minded players and, as stated earlier, a few action players.

Thank you all. Looks like Top Hat wins. I haven't been there in more than a decade. It sure didn't seem like a jumping pool room back then, but I guess things have changed since every other pool room we used to frequent is now closed down for good.

Where's a fellow who's got an itch for action going to go in Maryland? Top Hat, it is.

And a tad closer, in va...breakers has good equipment.

Doubtful there will be action, but I really know.

Never have been to Top Hat, will definitely check it out.

Triple Nines Billiards is a nice place. It's just west of BWI, southwest of Baltimore in Elkridge. About 20 tables. Lotsa food, full bar, lotsa TVs. Can't speak about availability of action but my guess is if you wanted a money game you could find it here.

If your looking for cheap action that's a decent place mostly one pocket , but at the hat you can usually find any level of action in any game
