Where is the "X Breaker" now?

So we all know that the short lived deal between Samsara and Xbreaker has been severed... Why? Why was Gulyassy quick to jump on Samsara, and was this the reason that Samsara changed direction?

Where is this going to leave the Xbreaker as a product and ultimately as a company?

Discuss.....

They look like the glasses Steve Martin's character invented in "The Jerk."

How is the relationship between X Breaker and Samsara "known" to be severed?

points to anybody who has a check from the class action settlement for one dollar and six cents.

That doesn't mean anything.
Ok, Corey, don't start paraphrasing what I say to indicate something other than what I had given at face value.... If you read what I wrote and what you wrote while "so called" quoting me, they have entirely different contexts.

Where has Richard been? Why the recent announcement that Samsara is doing Gulyassy's work and NO mention of the Xbreaker any more? Why is it that there has been no indication that the xbreaker is still being manufactured by Samsara, yet the Sledgehammer is touted as "back in production"?

If I were Richard and Samsara (a two man shop!) had approached me saying that they were going to be doing Mike's work as well - which I HIGHLY doubt was the case - Richard would've been furious. I believe that the relationship between Richard and Samsara went south. Mike saw the opportunity (or vice versa) to form a new relationship. This is merely my speculation, however....

If it looks like a duck...

The Gulyassy jump/break is now being manufactured by Samsara.
The X Breaker by Richards is not being manufactured by Samsara.
These are facts.
Let's keep the reason that Samsara switched to Gulyassy as a private matter between these businessmen. I think that is how they would want it.

Gulyassy will be at Valley Forge with his new jump/break & other custom cues.
The X Breaker, not sure if they will be at Valley Forge.

Check out Mike's website http://www.babysproshop.com/ if you would like more info about his line of cues. I spoke to my friend Mike tonight and he is in great spirits & looking forward to Valley Forge & his booth there. Be sure to check him out & introduce yourself.

That was my point until I was baited....

I thought that xbreaker are or will be made in china taiwan.

It is just some gossip i picked up from dealers. So please don't quote me.

If anything, perhaps there is hope of finding an authorize dealer in asia to buy from so that i would not worry about the warranty crap thing.

Mikes breaker seems nice, never got the chance to try one yet. but it is also quite expensive so i dun think that oppotunity will come any time soon.

Probably my next jump break will be a custom one.

Best regards
Chris

I think the popularity of the Xbreaker is on the downside. I saw a rather large amout of used ones for sale at our recent APA event. Not the best sign when players are selling them or trading them in.

I think it's s FACT that I've never seen a thread on any billiard MB that contained this much speculation, backed up by very little fact.

Whatever happens to X Breaker, I wish Richard and his crew the best. I will remain a loyal customer to him as he has remained loyal with his great service to me and his other customers.... regardless of what has happened between him and other businesses, which I agree, should remain between them.

Maybe if Richard could inform us... the last I heard he was doing fine since signing Ralf Souquet on to his roster. He hasn't posted since the 2nd of February though... which is kind of unusual.
