Exactly. Or taking advice from anyone you believe can help. The fact that they've helped a few billionaires means absolutely nothing to average Joe. There are millions of average Joes out there.

Yep, there was even some talk about using the entire pocket. I know it wasn't Pro1, but it's nice to know that Hal acknowledged the use of pocket slop in his CTE fractional method, laughing at those who claimed the method mysteriously sent balls to center pocket for every shot.

I wish I could've met him, or at least talked to him about some of his ideas. I feel like the second hand information, or other people's interpretations of his ideas, might not have matched my interpretations if I had talked to him myself. I think some people assumed Hal was leaving something out, holding back for whatever reason, though he probably wasn't. He seemed to have understood the how and why just fine, despite the users of his systems attributing their workability of them to some unexplained mystery. Either that or he was just pacifying JB by laughing at what some of the system users were saying.
