Tyler Styer uses Perfect Aim?

I'm not the one taking credit for Tyler's play so I couldn't say. I suppose if I had ricketts as a child and my doctor cured me so I could go on to become a great long distance runner I might credit my childhood doctor for my success. ;)

Tyler grew up kinda close to Gene and EVERYONE knows if you are anywhere near Gene you have to take a lesson. Gene is an excellent human being, I've met him and taken a lesson, and his enthusiasm for pool is unmatched by anyone. He also has some very good information. It's not the same as CTE PRO-ONE though.
Stan's information is unique and Tyler recognizes that and credits Stan every chance he gets.

As far as the doctor thing. When i tore my knee up my regular doctor looked at it and took an xray. Then he sent me to an orthopedic surgeon, an expert if you will, to finish the job and put it all together.

So...what you're saying is...it's a two-part process?

First....you see it. Then.....you shoot it.

I think it's brilliant. Let me know if you need a publisher. I assume it'll be a chapter book? Of course, what am I thinking....two chapters. No need to jam it all into one. Anyway, I like it. I really do. :grin-square:

Does amazon have a 99 cent book club? Asking for a friend

Lol. Probably so.

But I figure we could get 39.99 out of a book titled, See it/Shoot it. Sure there's gonna have to be some minor changes in the body of the work so that the actual text isn't just an exact repeat of the title. That can be done easily enough by adding some complimentary words like, "I", and, "just", and, "and".

We could add pictures too. The pictures could show the shot from Lou's perspective using a go pro camera. One pic of the shot before he shoots, then another as he shoots, then one final pic of the result. The first one could be titled "Seeing the Shot", and the second one would be "Shooting the Shot", followed up by a straight over the pocket view of the ob resting in its hole, titled "Shot Result".

Instant classic. I'm just waiting on Lou's people to contact my people so we can get it rolling.

Disclaimer: "See it/Shoot it" is not an actual book in the making. It is simply a method used to pocket pool balls. This fictitious book idea is not intended to ridicule or mock Lou Figueroa, as I happen to subscribe to the See it/Shoot it method quite often myself.

OK, your made me really Laugh Out Loud.

Every one of us have a starting point for the process of pocketing the ball and a end to when we pull the trigger.

To say you just see it is bullshit. To a beginner to a pro you have a process period....you got that...lol

I just see the ball....come see Me...I'll figure it out for you. What a joke.

Tor Lowry has proven this.
A pro can line up the shot without a stick.

I think any decent player can do this. The cue stick is just a tool for striking the cb. But that doesn't mean it can't be used to help get or ensure your body is aligned properly for the shot.

Other than straight in know one just see's the shot and shoots it in with great success. Every way of making angled shots will require a perception from the start that creates another perception when you pull the trigger.

Just because one cant explain it doesn't mean he just seeing the shot. There is a start and end for everything .

Anyone can find the aiming line without a cue. Your body becomes the cb and let go.

See it, shoot it.

You don't get it, you don't get it. It's kinda like tossing a wadded up piece of paper into a trash can. See it, shoot it.

The trick at pool is to develop a PSR that -- once you look at the shot -- makes the ball go into the pocket and the CB behave the way you want it. Your "system" is your PSR and if you have that you know what's going to happen when you pull the trigger.

You dont get it.

I understand what you're saying and your psr is part of it.

Pool hasn't nothing other to do with expect pool, period.
A person must connect to the shot ( the ob and pocket angle) so he can determine the shot line, you dont just see it... not at first anyways.

Comparing other sports...throwing a ball..whatever to pool is a crockpot of shit.

:thumbup2:
You get 4 out of 10 shots in pool and you're a no shooting bum.
You get 4 out of 10 hits off pitchers in the majors and you're in the hall of fame at Cooperstown.

Yep!

Its know different then saying Im good at this so I should be get at that. There some comedians on here.

CJ Wiley agrees with Lou. https://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=511064
John Scmidt talked about a baseball player throwing the ball too.
And , I don't like Lou.

You can believe all what these guys tell you but one thing we all share is some kinda connection to the pocket angle. Who cares how its done just as long as you can get there. If I place you or anyone else at a table covered by a curtain and you had know Ideal where the pocket was your ability to just see it wouldn't work ...why? You've lost the first part of creating the first perception.

Trying to help here and anyone claiming to just see it like I said is..full of crap.

Who's CJ Wiley and John Smith??? Lol I could care less . Im about my game ...they aint.

You really need to listen to what he is saying.
Fran Crimi even advocates it.
Try practicing just using your right brain.
See the shot , shoot it.
The shot includes pocketing the ball and controlling whitey of course.
See the shot picture, shoot it .

When pros like CJ or Reggie Miller or John Elway get in the "zone", they are really in the unconscious state . They visualize the shots/plays, then execute.

Bingo amigo!

Stan has stated this is a visual game...I agree with this Man 100 percent. We create perceptions with are eyes and the body follows...again he is right. Placement with the body for the eyes is key. No one gets around this.

I could put a video of me running rack after rack on here and you guys probably would say [if you didn't know who I was ]he just seeing the ball...using his right part of his brain[ who comes up with this shit anyway?] Followed by a bingo and be good with it.

If your the type of player that tries to just walk up and see it ...good luck with that. And we haven't even touch on the English part of it.

I agree, but doesn't every sport require the eyes to lead and the body to follow? I think even chess meets that standard.

Is this supposed to be groundbreaking news?

No kidding?
Same thing, different flavor.

See the shot, line up and shoot.
See the line, shoot.

Ronnie shooting 147 is a great example.
Fkkr just shoots like a fool when he's frkn running out.

Late lunch is over. Late.
