Some friends and I have a $100 bet on which cue ball is heavier? Red Circle or the dotted red ball.
Exact weights would be nice.

I have the aramith ball and the measle aramith ball. They both weigh 6 oz. The measle ball plays like its heavier. I've been told its because the resin compound is different in the 2 balls. I have 2 other red circle cue balls and a new brunswick centennial blue circle ball......they all weigh 6 oz. The red circle from seyberts billiards plays a little heavier than the other red circle and the blue circle ( these 2 play about the same ).
So the resin compound makes a big difference in how a cue ball plays, not the dead weight as they all weigh 6oz.
Good luck

Hmm, that's interesting. I've a red dot that came with my Super Aramith set and that plays much heavier than the measles ball I replaced it with.

Red dot or Red circle. Two different balls.

Actually, neither! It's the ball with the red logo.

Maybe he means red logo (super aramith logo)? Red dot is the crazy heavy Dynamo bar ball. I believe the composition of that one is 100% pure feces.
