Seriously, I prefer, the Super-Aramith, if I had a choice. I personally think the lighting and color of cloth, are more important. I love the Diamond lights and the blue color cloth. They make small pockets a little more inviting.

Thats what I have heard. that the centenials play better and dont do anything funny. Thats why I started this poll
From everything I've heard the Centennials and Super Aramith Pros are identical in composition, the only difference being the graphics.
I prefer the Centennials because I like the graphics better. Especially the numbers on the blank sides of the striped balls rather than the # on the stripe like on the Super Pros.

My feelings exactly. Beautiful design on the centennials. They look sturdy and hardy.
I believe the older centennials are made differently, i have played with both and they do seem different, but both do play well
I have the aramith super pros and they skid more than centennials.
Centennials flat-out play better. If someone has a good set of centennials and prefer super pro aramiths, PM me for a trade. My set is like new because i take great care of my stuff.

When I purchased my table (05), I bought an Aramith Premium ball set from a store going out of business. He opened the box and the cue ball was missing, so he handed me a red circle and said, "how about $50?". Deal!! They've been fine for me, and don't see a need to upgrade them anytime soon. 
I guess I'm not good enough to tell if they play any differently than the Centennials or Super Pros at the poolhall....when mine either wear out or if I do get good enough to tell the difference - I'll switch :grin:
I was tempted a year or so ago when someone was selling the IPT Tour sets for (IIRC) well under a hundred bones. They had a different look to them that kinda intrigued me.....I'll find a pic of them. Anyone try those??

The new kid on the block is Aramith Tournament balls.
The Saluc company in Belgium makes Brunswick Centennials balls and Super Aramith Pro balls from the same resin. Saluc also makes the new Aramith Tournament balls, using what they claim is an improved resin.

so, are the IPT balls I have pictured in my post the same as the "tournament" balls??? hmmmmm
Ive got both sets at home. The brunswicks play better imho. Nothing like a new brunswick table and new centenial balls.
I believe they are identical in composition but the finish is different.
The super-pro have a "harder" finish to them that makes them more durable but more slippery at the same time.
Must be something new. The place I played in for 23+ years has many Centennial sets and I never saw a ball replaced. Never saw one scratch or discolor. I worked there as well as played there.
It depends on which Centennials we are talking about. The original balls or the series I believe is made by Aramith. Those are essentially identical to the Super Pro's. The original Centennials are physically smaller. Place two Super Pro's in a pocket opening. Then place two original Brunswick Centennials in the same location. You'll see what I mean. It's not a lot but there is some size difference. JMHO.
