Jeanette Lee lurks here?

Jeanette, if you're reading this, my wife and I saw you at a challenge match event thingy in Vegas a few years back. When you came in my wife was really excited because she really admires you. When she approached you you totally stuck your nose up in the air and snubbed her, maybe because she's Asian, I don't know. Anyway, you probably don't care, but you lost a fan that day.

and I pretty much went with her on that one

Did you know whining is just grown-up crying?

Share the same courtesy you expect- you don't know what contributed to Jeannette's action, so don't ASSume.

True. Who knows how you caught her or the timing you caught her. To say you're no longer a fan because you perceived her to snub you makes no sense. She's human.

Jennette was in Charlotte recently for the GenerationPool.com tourney and was as nice and cordial as anyone. She stopped and spoke to people when they requested autographs, pictures, etc and even carried on a few conversations I witnessed.

Perhaps she had a bad day when you saw her? Maybe just lost a match? Her cookies? Who knows but, I've bad days myself and certainly don't mean to shun people. Not trying to make waves nor make light of what you feel happened but, sounds like you've carried this for a few years now and doubt anyone/thing can change that.

I've also had the pleasure of meeting Jeanette a couple of times and she's always been very nice and friendly. Obviously can't speak to the circumstances surrounding Mully's interaction, but as far as I know that's not her reputation or usual reaction.

Mully,

I have seen Jeanette many many times at events and I have never seen her refuse to talk to a fan, pose for pictures, or sign an autograph for anybody - so your post really confuses me.

Jeanette's policy is to never refuse those requests from fans. I have personally watched her pose 3 or 4 times just to make sure the fan has a good picture with her. Win or lose - Jeanette doesn't leave the area until she has signed every autograph and posed for every picture. That is what I have always seen.

2 years ago, Jeanette and George allowed me take pictures of Cheyenne when she was learning how to walk - Neither of them really know me all that well but they understand that the pool world loves their entire family - and as fans, we are privileged to have access to them as easily as we do. Both Jeanette and George really go the extra mile 100% of the time to interact and be accessible to the fans.

This is the first negative experience that I have ever heard about.

I have never heard of Jeanette being anything else but nice, cordial, polite, (and above all else) grateful and accessible to all of her fans.

I am confused by the title of the thread - are we talking about which pros are writing here, as in helping the knowledge base? That is a waaaaaaaay shorter list than what has been discussed.

Sorry - I look at the 14.1 forum as the only one specifically geared towards instruction and improvement. So the fact that the question was asked on this forum, and not the main forum, leads me to believe the poster is interested in finding out which pros are helping that cause.

- Steve

Get over yourself. She was at a public function for the fans. In a situation like that she needs to act as the professional that she is. My wife had been looking forward to meeting her, probably the Asian woman connection, and she didn't even get to say anything to her. If you were there you would agree that it was uncalled for. Everyone we were with were like WTF was that?
