Who contributes the most?

Of course anyone that reads these threads reads JAM's posts...She is the practically the only real time coverage you can get for current events....

My personal favorites would be anyone that actually posts something that has the potential to improve my game......(Those posters know who they are)

I am just glad that "RichardCranium" guy is gone.....I could not stand him... ;)

Posting for me is a pleasure because, like most of us here, I enjoy reading the latest news and networking with other pool folk from around the world. I must say that I have learned a great deal about the game/sport from AzBilliards Discussion Forum and its members. :)

I think the collective body of forum members as a whole is quite unique. I'm a tournament hound and most definitely want to be kept abreast of the who-what-where-and-whens, and this website is the BEST when it comes to providing updates as well as dissemination of info and results.

There are many subcultures within the pool culture as a whole. For some, the cue sticks draw a great interest, and there is an abundance of knowledgeable cue makers who can answer just about any inquiry one might have.

When I'm home, the first thing I read in the morning with my cup of coffee is AzBilliards. It was a very sad day for me when the website went down temporarily earlier this year, and I couldn't wait to connect and catch up with the threads that I may have missed. If there is such a thing as AzBilliards withdrawl, I had it. When the website resurfaced, I was on top of the pool world once more. ;)

A day without AzBilliards for me is like a day without sunshine. I value each and every contribution and look forward to reading all about it, thanks to all of you. That's why I keep coming back! :p

Me too Koop. It wouldn't be the same place without Drivermaker. I support him 100% and don't believe the allegations currently sweeping this board for one minute. How can you take the word of children so young seriously when a man's reputation is at stake? All 17 of them should have their filthy mouths washed out with soap and water. I bet they were just put up to it by their parents based on his previous convictions. It's all too easy nowadays to sling mud at someone hoping that some sticks, and start scurrilous rumours without any basis in fact as this post proves all too clearly.

around here. I'm not sure anyone's the best, because the forum is so multidimensional in its content and subject matter. Our posters include:

room proprietors
equipment gurus
sponsors of the game
tournament organizers
benefactors of the game
fans of the game
new players getting excited about pool
game theorists
pool nostalgists
American pool enthusiasts
European pool enthusiasts
Asian pool enthusiasts

Many on our forum fit into numerous categories above. Members of each of these groups contribute to our forum in their own special ways. I see no reason to compare them, but I sure like having them around.

This forum's MVP is surely AZHOUSEPRO.
 
The One: Because he is living the pool dream that alot of us probably would like to. It is nice to have a vicarious pool thrill sometimes through his adventures. It's nice of him to give us most of the juicy details without rubbing it in our faces. P.S. Craig. Be nice to Fred....he's my next favorite poster. ;)
 
SJM,OHB are two of my favorites. I love the OHB stories! I think al-famir is always funny, and always look what ever the thread when I see he has posted. Timberly and landshark for interjecting their intelligent female perspectives.

There really are too many to list & I know that I would forget some along the way and end up editing this thing 10 times. Instead of making my own list, I will say that it's amazing how much alike Girlwon1 & I think! I'm not one of those people that likes to hear myself talk, so scratch my name out of her post ;) and add Girlwon1 in it's place & you've got an excellent start on my list. I seek out posts by all of the above mentioned. (and a few more) :cool:

I told DM today that believe it or not, he is sorely missed.

To all of DM's detractors all I can say is that you don't really know the man. He is one of the greatest guys out there.

You have to meet Gremlin to know him. He's a very passionate player/fan with a lot of knowledge about the players and I like him. But I think he's p-o'd at me.

Now there is no way you can classify Eydie into that class! She and Bob are trying to establish tournaments for the Players and they should be commended for all their efforts. It takes A LOT OF WORK to do their events. And LOTS OF WORK - oh, did I mention that?

No way Eydie's a goof off. Or Bob for that manner. Eydie just likes to share humor. And in the biz of what she and Bob want to do, you really need some!!

No I didn't mean Eydie was soley a goof-off....but she does clown around and IMO is fun. I didn't mean anything bad by saying that.

With her bad car accident she had last year, she couldn't come to the SBE. I'm looking forward to Eydie and Bob making it next year!!

On another note, I may be be seeing them sooner and playing The Windy City!
