Who do you think are the most exciting players to watch?

Keith, Earl, Alex, Shane, Tony Drago, Bobby Pickle

Keith and Bobby Pickle always seemed very similar to me at the table. The way they addressed the cue ball.. both are fast and aggressive and both had very high gears especially on the bar box.. although Keith's was no doubt a bit higher.

When he is "on", I'd have to say Earl is my favorite to watch. He seems to play at another level when he gets in stroke.

Earl was the most exciting one I played....Efren a close second

C'mon, CJ, after watching that match with Miz, we all think you are one of the most exciting players out there. You're a gunslinger if I ever saw one. ;)

Add Earl, Keith, Alex, Darren and Sigel to my list as well. Ronnie O. is way up there as well.

I love Shane, but I'd hardly call his style exciting. He has to be one of the most laid back players out there, and so predictably great he's almost boring. Just once I'd like to see him slam his cue down... or jump up on the table after a major victory.

EARL has the highest shot making gear I played, Efren was just as impressive in a different way.....I played Efren for 14 straight hours in Seattle in an all Filipino pool room...I missed 6 Balls in 14 hours and was ONE GAME BEHIND....luckily I was getting 3 games going to 22 for 3 sets ;)

I don't think they are the most exciting players out there to watch, but I think Luc Salvas and Marcus Chamat deserve at least an honorable mention here.

Maniac (likes Keith and Alex's style of play)

Keith for sure, GEESE(Mike Gerace) he was a pure character, floopy hat and overalls he looked like he just got done cutting his corn field! IT WAS ALWAYS A TREAT TO WATCH GEESE PLAY ANY GAME, you had a good time weather you lost your bet or won!

You have good taste! :D

Yeah Jam, but we have to get him back in the box ........... Keith is a legend and should be there to help the sport and be available to fans...... He is revered by lots of us old timers.

Niels Feijen, Earl Strickland, Efren Reyes, CJ Wiley, Jeff Carter, Ray Martin, Ralph Souquet.

CJ Wiley - nobody makes 9 ball look so easy!

Efren Reyes - the magician is in a class by himself and is my all time favorite player to watch.

Efren Reyes, Ronnie O'Sullivan, and Judd Trump

Ronnie O'Sullivan. He makes an incredibly hard game look easy.

Agreed -- Ronnie O'Sullivan and Efren Reyes are the two tops on my list to watch. Anytime a YouTube video shows up (that I haven't yet seen) that has one of these two in the title, I almost literally drop what I'm doing to watch it, right then and there.

I'd add Judd Trump to that list as well -- he reminds me of a young Ronnie O'Sullivan, has a bit less of the cockiness, yet with just the same savoir-faire as Ronnie. You know when watching Judd that you're going to see shots that absolutely will drop the floor out from under you!

Color of Money match

This isn't about being the best player...but the most exciting to watch (and why).

I always enjoy watching Tony Drago. He makes some incredible shots but it's the pace he plays at that is so exciting.

Your thoughts?

I finally finished watching every minute of the incredible "Color of Money" match between Efren and Earl. What can I say? I could watch those two go at it forever, despite Earl's nonsense.
I also love watching SS and Venom's trick shots for a break from actual competition.

I'm going to reach down and pull one up from the bottom.

Jersey Red was pretty fun to watch because he commentated as he played.

It's depends. If I'm looking for showmanship and all out offense, Earl was amazing. Mike Dechaine is also on that list. Keith was very entertaining.

I also have great respect for players like Tony Robles, Mike Zuglan and The Miz. They just went about their jobs and did whatever it took to win the match.

I know first hand. I've played all of them except Keith.
