Funny, these were my first thoughts too. The only thing I would possibly reconsider is 8-ball -- I'd probably take Efren. Before Wu, he won a number of 8-ball World Championhips, and he rose to the top of the IPT without missing a beat.

9 Ball - Francisco Bustamante just doesn't miss, barely ever gets out of line, has a huge break, kicks like God, and comes with shots nobody expects in an almost Efren-like way. He's my favorite, regardless of what anyone says about Orcullo.
8 Ball - Efren Reyes sees the patterns like nobody else in my opinion, and had the most success of anyone in the IPT, winning two tournaments and going very deep in the other, not to mention his world 8-ball championship titles.

Straights - Nobody plays 15-ahead straight pool (at least I hope not), but if we're talking a long race like 500 points, I'd have to go with John Schmidt because I know he's got the endurance, and I know he's a world-beater. In a shorter race I'd be tempted to go with Hohmann, but I don't know whether or not he goes the distance as well as Schmidt.
Banks - Jason Miller's got the track record, and I don't think Eddie Taylor is available.

Just do not let it be a world championship for Bustamante and he will do OK. For some reason, he is just unlucky when it comes to world championship games. He just lost a match wherein he was leading 9-7 in a race to 10 against Engert in 8Ball World Championships, then according to reports, missed an easy 8, allowing Engert to reach the hill and winning 10-9 thereby eliminating him from the tournament.
I don't know why you guys haven't said anything about Tony Fergueson AKA Tony Fargo about banks. i know right now, he will play anybody; i mean anybody a full rack of banks for 10,000-20,000 a session. This is real offer if you can find somebody, bring it. Again....He's open to the world!!!
