Who makes the best custom cue

Cuetec has that custom option where you can get the colored graphite covering both butt and shaft.
Greatest cue ever made.

I know this is a matter of opinion, but I want to see what you guys think.

For what is is worth. In my 40+ years of playing pool, I have yet to see a pool cue make a single ball by itself.

That said, I like and own cues from the following cue makers:

Mike Bender
Jim Buss
Richard Black
Greg Pierce
Rick Howard
Ray Schuler
1970-1989 Vikings

Cues that I have played with but do not currently own that I like:
Gina
Southwest
Black Boar
Joss West
Richard Chudy
1970-1989 McDermotts

I think Kent Davis of So. Cal is one of the greatest cue makers around!

Check out his work at : http://www.kentdaviscues.com/custom-pool-cues-kent-davis-master-of-burl/
I have seen and played with several of his cues, they all hit amazing! My favorite is the 61" cue he made for Tall Tony O, I will post a pic of that when I can. But here are some other examples of his craftsmanship!

Something you might look into is a Rauenzahn cue. Absolutely amazing workmanship and phenomenal hit.
But, as has been stated, everything is subjective. Talk to deanoc...

Bill Schick

Any list of greatest cuemakers should include Bill. He is my favorite cuemaker and he built my favorite cue.

I think this is such a great topic because it is obvious that every pool player including myself is so passionate about their cues. bottom line is there are a ton of great cue makers out there and it is a matter of opinion and every one has their own and most of them differ. personally I play with a James White cue and I love it. Chris Nitti is one of the greatest people you will ever meet and he makes a great cue as well.
