Who owns a table setup by RKC?

I have had Glen, and Ernesto do tables for me over the years. Its worth the wait for these guys. Mark Gregory who dosent get talked about much here is great also but he is too far from me to do any work.
My business partner spent a ton on some new B-Wick 9' box with burgandy cloth(at least I talked him into 860) on it, the decorator wanted the cloth to math the window treatments, The light looka like a mid-evil torture device that when you turn it on makes the balls look worse, it creates so many shawdos it's impossible to play. If you put the rock on the spot and fire it hard as you can you can get just over 3 rails, on new cloth that rolls fast. there are more rolls on that table that the fat lady at the county fair. It was set up by carpenters using hammers at best, there is no way they used a level. it is worth the wait for a quality guy. And the customer is happy, he cant make 2 balls in a row but it looks good to him. The room is nice and big, shame is wasnt done right. It was installed by a B-Wick dealer too.

My diamond was setup by RKC about 2 months ago... I could not be happier with it! If only I had more time to play!
Glen set up my Diamond Pro-Am several months back. Of course, it was delivered in one piece ready to go. He just had to wheel it in and set it in place. Then he leveled the whole thing. It was a table previously used in Reno at the Sands tourney.
This is the beauty of the one piece slate Pro-Am. Ease of installment. And they have built in leg levelers. Glen knows his stuff. After he was done, he played a few games with me. He let me know that he had played a lot of pool in his day. I let him know I had played a little myself. :wink:
Glen can play, but he better pack his lunch, if he thinks he's gonna come in and beat me in my house. Even Tang has trouble with that assignment. Glen keeps threatening to come back when he is in L.A. I'm waiting for you big guy.
Like Fatboy said, Glen knows his stuff. He can tell you about the inner workings of a pool table as good as anyone living. Kind of like when a top cue maker discusses his art.

Antique table ( Brunswick Newport )
Add me to the list of very fortunate ones that have had their table not only set up by therealkingcobra but completely reworked ( he spent 3 days at my home ) My table is a 102 year old Brunswick Newport and has never played as good as it does now. Glen is the real deal. And it only took me a year to get him here....but it was worth the wait

Here's mine... a 9-foot Pro Am from last December's Reno event. Glen delivered it, set it up and then re-covered it in tournament blue. It's da nuts. :thumbup2:
I've only had it for only ~3 months now but I feel that I've almost gotten my money's worth out of it. Had some great pool parties with it already... and many more to come.

Ooooo a Diamond here in Austin!!
Glen has been a friend of Mike's and mine for many years and he has always treated us right. We got a Diamond Pro with IPT cloth and tight pockets. When we moved last Nov., it got put on a dolly and is still sitting there with the Diamond light.
Glen, this is to let you know, we should be ready in about a month to have you set it up again! In fact, I am finishing up the garage this weekend. (We went from a 3 car garage to a 2, so I have to get rid of a lot more stuff.) Maybe I can get Mike to start playing again.
Btw, Jay, don't let Glen snow you. He said he had never been 3-fouled either, until I did it to him. :grin:

Glenn set up my 9ft. Diamond Pro-Am two years ago. Am waiting for him to recover it anyday. He said three weeks, three weeks ago, but I suspect another couple of weeks before he gets here. He's worth the wait though!
