I personally have enjoyed some of Fatboys posts here on the forum. However, I have had enough of the Fatboy posts, not being disrespectfully, just defiant. I really believe that some of the people on this forum have way to much time on hands, Jesus Christ this is AZ Billiards not a Soap Opera!!!!!!!!!!!:eek: One thing I have learned in my 48 year life span is that know one is so important that the forum will stop without them. I really think all the ego stroking that occurs here is a joke!!!!!!!!;) I also feel sorry for those that have such a low opinion of themselves that need to be involved in all the brown nosing and butt kissing that go's on here.:eek: Lets get back to what this site is all about, and in my opinion that is sharing information, building friendships, and supporting each other the way the site was a couple of years ago!!!;)

Now for those that disagree, and for those who want to give me a piece of their mind for making these statements, my words are not directed at any one person. However, if the shoe fits wear it Sweat Heart, because opinions are like the nose on everyones face, some are held high, some are kept low, and some are covered with a Brown substance that attracts flies.

Oh and by the way this is just an opinion, but it has been on my mind, and even though this will not be popular with some, most that know me, also know I speak my mind!!!!!!!! ;)

I agree with you totally,if you want a soap opera go watch Desperate Housewives or something.Im sure alot of people will try to flame you but your a tough bird like moi so its nothing but a thang.I think in this world there are people who are leaders,followers,and rogues/loners,everyone has to play their part. ;)
 
I will miss Fatboy just as I miss anyone who does no harm and tries to be a helpful and positive member of the az community.
 
I agree, I think.
I didn't mind Fatboy, I won't miss him, and don't care whether he does or doesn't come back. What's it matter? AZ is just an innocent passtime, what goes on in here just isn't all that important. If I make a few acquaintances (don't see how you can become friends over an electronic medium) that's good, if I offend anybody that's bad.
I wouldn't mind less drama, woofing, and false bravado and more pool talk, but I guess it all goes together.
 
I did not know the Fatboy, but wish him well none the less. Life on AZ will go on just as it always has. Many posters come and go, I really pay little attention. Such is life!

What I don't understand is why people feel the need to leave in the first place. If they do feel the need then why advertise that you are leaving, just leave! Everyone has differing opinions and thats what the forum is all about. If someone has a different opinion than me then I argue my point, they argue theirs and life goes on. It's really not that big a deal if someone doesn't agree with me or thinks different than me concerning some of the issues on AZBilliards. Fatboy invited criticism by starting all those threads, much like DCP, Walt Frazier, Bernie, and others. It doesn't mean everyone hates Fatboy, it just means that we have many witty and cynical posters. In the end, it is all entertaining and thats why I enjoy the forum.
 
Personally, I don't care either way, if he stays or goes. He will remain my friend regardless of whether he ever makes another post on here. I happen to like the guy.
 
Eric has a good heart and he was perhaps a bit naive about how brutal folks are on the "anonymous" internet. If anyone here actually knew him, they would not make so many cruel jokes and comments.

We all take semi-harsh stuff on here in good fun, but it seems there has been a trend that went well beyond "good harmless fun".

Web forums can be a very cruel place and we lose a great many quality contributors for it.

I don't blame him for leaving.

To everyone who has had enough of the Fatboy posts, I recommend that you don't make anymore Fatboy posts. Just let the "problem" go away, if you feel that it's a problem.

Why the personal attacks against people? I know you weren't talking about anyone specifically, but that's a pretty harsh generalization, in my opinion. One could easily put the shoe on the other foot, and say that those who have to cut someone down are the ones with the low opinion of themselves. I'm not saying this applies to you, but I think my statement is at least as fair as yours was.

Now to address the "brown nosing" comment, despite the fact that I disagree with your post here, I usually like your posts, and you've helped answer my questions on the board before, so I'd easily go so far as to say that you're a poster here that I like and respect. I hope you don't take that as me "brown nosing" you. If so, let me know. If it makes you uncomfortable, or if you feel like I'm kissing your ass by saying that, I'll do my best not to say anything nice about you again.

Lets get back to what this site is all about, and in my opinion that is sharing information, building friendships, and supporting each other the way the site was a couple of years ago!!!;)

I'm undecided about this. I mean, it's nice of you not to go off on any one person. On the other hand, it would be a lot easier if you just spoke to the person, or people, who are bothering you. If there is anything that needs to be solved, I think that approach would solve it more quickly.

I don't think the shoe fits me, but I don't think ANYONE is going to think the shoe fits them. You are designing the shoe, you want someone to wear it. I don't think anyone's going to volunteer for that shoe. So you're going to have to pick the "shoe model" yourself, IMO. LOL :)

First of all you have to name someone specifically to make a PERSONAL ATTACK, by not using a name it allows for contemplation, and each person who reads my comments will know if it applies to them. To say that well people will not apply my comments to themselves, this I completely disagree with. When people read something, they will be moved by it in one of three ways, negative, positive, or not at all. Now from my limited experience in life, I have learned that the one person know one can hide their feelings from is the person they see in the mirror. In most cases if you feel that some ones statements are directed at you, your inner person is telling you that you fit the criteria of what has been said. At this point self evaluation is the next response that is necessary to either prove or disprove your own thoughts.

Brown nosing is not really a form of agreement, it is really an attempt to gain self esteem from another's comments because of ones lack of a positive self image. By agreeing with some one Else's view because that is what you feel in your heart, and by not sacrificing your own integrity is not Brown nosing. But, there again each of us knows when we have spoken what we believe is true, and know one else knows better.;)

First of all I very glad that the shoe will not fit your foot, however, to make that statement you have contemplated my comments, and that was the purpose of them in the first place. Whether some one VOLUNTEERS to wear the shoe I have designed or not also is not important. Those people who these comments apply too, know who they are, they cant hide from themselves. Sometimes comments can be all the help we need to self correct issues that we have, I mean sometimes without help we can not even see that a problem exists in the first place.;)

I know by your comments that some of the things said in my initial thread, have touched you, in a negative or positive manner and your post proves this. Like I said above, this is my opinion and you have stated your's, and all I can say is thanks for your post!!!!!!!:)
