I know Chris. Ofcourse I mark all the emails as junk automatically.

Hey Benfica, if you don't have what he's looking for, I think I might. The cue I have is a little heavy, but whatcha gonna do when you mount a digital camera on a cue? I thought it would help my game, but all it did was make me develop a significant elbow drop stroke. So, I'll be happy to make Mr Robert's a sweet deal. That's what KK9 do.

That's funny. I was about to start a thread on the WTS forum and ask for that cue as well. Since you have it I'll have the guy contact you directly

I don't know what you guys are talking about!!!

I got an email from Mr. Robert a few months ago. He tracked me down after an old relative of mine (whom I never even knew) had passed away and left me his estate worth over $30 million!!!

Anyway, while I was sad to hear of the death of this stranger (as were my 20 or so other living relatives whom ALSO had never heard of him), I figured "Who am I to deny this man his last request?! I mean, if his dying wish was to give me $30 million, how could I say no?!?!" I mean, 20 plus relatives and he chose ME to give his fortune to. Maybe he just thought I was a good egg. Maybe my shady Uncle Jim tried to scam him once or twice like he did the rest of us. Damn that Jim! Who knew. All I know is, if good old Uncle 'what-ever-his-name-was' from Africa passed away, well... he's family! I'll do whatever it takes to help!

So I inquired with Mr. Robert what I needed to do to get the process moving. Not 'cause I wanted monetary compensation for the loss of a 'loved one' (how crass would that be!). But because I felt it only fair that Mr. Robert, an innocent pawn here trying to grant the dying wish of a wealthy man, should not have to waste his time answering my inane questions like "Is this legit? Who was this guy?" Afterall, Mr. Robert was just a friendly family guy trying to do his job. And me? I like to make people's jobs as easy as possible!

Mr. Robert told me all I needed to do was to email him my bank info as well as my Social Security number. I guess my relative grew tired of life in the good ol' US of A because the email address that Mr. Robert gave me was traced back to somewhere in Somalia. (I hear its beautiful there in October.) He was even kind enough to tell me that if my bank account appeared to have a zero balance for a few days that I shouldn't worry. "Its all part of the the process!" Mr. Robert said. What a relief. When I saw zeros there for the first time 4 months ago, I woulda freaked had Mr. Robert not notified me. Anyway, I gave him all my info so, any day now, I should be a multi-millionaire. If you're looking to sell any cues Tony! Let me know. Once my payday from Mr. Robert comes through, I'll buy whatever ya got!!!! I'd take them all now but for some weird reason, none of my credit cards are working at the moment. But I doubt that has ANYTHING to do with Mr. Robert. He never asked for my credit card info.

I say... trust the guy. He seems legit to me!

Chris...It's easy to deal with those guys. Just make sure the credit card payment CLEARS the bank, before you ship anything. Problem solved!

Scott, that is not real good advise. If the card number is stolen the Credit Card Company will sue you to get the money refunded.

I had a transaction on eBay around 3 years ago and had a customer pay using a credit card on paypal. Eight months after the transaction paypal froze my account until the money was repaid to the credit card company because the card turned out to be stolen or hacked. Now this was a screwed up situation and I did not think I was responsible however, legally I was according to my lawyer.

No problem Tony.
I don't know what everybody is worried about.
The guy from Nigeria just stopped by my house with the 10-million as promised.

WRONG....DO NOT.

After the transaction goes thru everything seems fine, you ship the product. Then 30 days later when the person that had their credit card or credit card # stolen calls and reports it guess what happens next the financial institution refunds Mr.Lee his credit card charges back to his card, but the person or company goods were purchased from is S.O.L. because their now out their products and the money. Best to just ignore the email.

I use to own a web site that I sold different products on, one day I get a nice order from a customer to the tune of about $6500 and some change, but the order had red flags all over it as the buyer order 3&4 of the most expensive items I sold on the web site. I called Visa told them this looked like a stolen credit card they agreed, refunded the transaction back to the credit card and Visa still charged me with the transaction fees which still cost me some where around $350-$400 because Visa-MasterCard their still getting their end of the money regardless if I remember correctly this was about 12 yrs. ago so hard to remember all the details.
