You know I don't sit here on Azbilliards and bask in the drama. There is too many negative things going on in this industry than to try to feed into it. I am trying my heart out to be positive and to defend the industry's interests by protecting videos, creating revenue and sharing the revenue and offering superior delivery network for billiards. Members of my platform who generally know my systems rules.I have recently started promoting my platform through pro players to help them generate some means of give back and hope to do more of this in the future.
Billiardnet.tv produces two levels or types of broadcasts for members.
OPEN CHANNEL streams – Open channel streams are FREE streams that just require a user to have any level of registered account including a FREE account. – We recommend this for all events that are of average or local, or any league players.
MEMBERS ONLY CHANNEL streams – Members only streams require the user to be any level of PAID subscriber to our subscription model to gain access. This allows us to generate revenue and promote our superior platform for watching large money added pro level type of events or action challenges.
This was a members only channel broadcast as most of them will be when traveling.
Technically the logo and graphic that says free on low quality is stipulated for open channel streams. However it is a FREE broadcast regardless if you are already a member. You don't pay to watch an event, you pay to be a member. We don't do pay per views here.
Occasional I will try to keep up on event posts with brackets and some matches but during an event I put most of my promotion into Facebook.
If you ask a question to me directly through any one of my Facebook accounts or my platform then you usually get me directly responding immediately because thats where I am.
I am struggling, I am always struggling, if it wasn't the fact that I consider this my art and it brings me happiness to produce and promote events and meet people all over and be a "goto guy" more than a business per se I wouldn't even be doing it. No human being with any sense whatsoever would struggle through this industry and do what I do. I do what I can and sacrifice much, it's like frodo bearing the ring of power this job would destroy anyone else but somehow I can manage to do it.
To answer your original question honestly I didn't even know much about being a GOLD member is? What are the benefits of being a GOLD member? What does it cost and mainly will it increase my visibility in the industry and perhaps gain me more long term members of billiardnet.tv?
I would also suggest not to get into a pissing match comparing or get into comparing other peoples interests or business models it's not good for morale. Just trust me on this one you probably don't want to do that.
If you excuse me I don't want to spend an hour on this post. There are promotions and events to book that need my help.
