I will say after receiving a few bits and pieces from his situation, str8shooter should probably at least consult a lawyer (without advertising it to his ex).
I agree completely.

Ride, I know that it sounds like we are piling on the Women, as most of us have been thru at least one messy divorce at some point.
Plus, Myself and am sure all the guys here have had Friends that also had a bad time of it.
So, I will also include that obviously its not always on the Women. I have known guys that didn't know what they had until it was gone.
If it wasn't for break ups and D I V O R C E, Country singers would lose half of their material.
And as par usual with some threads on AZ, we are only hearing one side of the story. Be interesting to hear the other side.
Stumped on this one.I made my soon to be x wife of 9 years a very nice custom cue 8 years back and now shes leaving me.Should I let her have it?Suggestions ..thoughts.
I just hope one day you don't have too hard of a time seeing her w/ a new guy and he is the one shooting w/ the cue you made for her...![]()
Easily one of the most ignorant statements I have seen of late. There are far more single moms out there struggling, because their dear sweet husbands turned into self-absorbed, and nasty ex-partners, and left them with nothing but the kids...and dodge child support. You sound like a misogynist.
Be fair throughout the process, let her have the cue or she may find ways to give you the shaft:frown:
What would you gain from being an Indian giver?
Quote your sources for these alleged stats. I have never asked anyone to bail me out.Statistics do not back this up. 2 out of 3 divorces are initiated by the woman against the wishes of her husband. Most of the other minority of men whose "fault" it was didn't "turn into" anything. They were always a deadbeat asshole and the woman decided to have children with them anyway.
And that boys is why you don't date single moms. They make bad decisions and by the time you get to them they are wanting to be bailed out. And you're just the chump they are looking for. For now anyway. Until you raise the deadbeat's kids the rest of the way. Then all bets are off. BTDT I will admit. With experience comes wisdom.
