World Jr Nationals

Alright everybody good news on the home front Chad played his 1st match against Byun Jin-Su of Taiwan and won 9-2. After that he faced off against Komiya Shonosuke of Japan on the live stream table and won again by the score of 9-7. Chad is now sitting in the top 8 players on the winner side. He next match is set for tomorrow at 7am our time on the live stream table he will be playing Liu Cheng-Chien of the Chinese Taipei. I will try and post a link to the stream if anyone is interested in watching. I will be showing the support tomorrow and def taking break early so i can watch his match I super proud of him this is pool at the WORLD Stage it cant get any tougher than this. I just got off of Face Time with my dad and he said Chad he playing pretty flawless it must be from all the racking he did for me when he was younger lol jk ;) But Ill keep eveyone updated from here on out. Lets go Chad bring it home for USA!!!!

Alright everyone some more updates I got to watch Chad's match this morning. He ended up losing 9-3 just couldn't seem to get it rolling. So now he has about 45 min break till his next match and he plays a German kid on the losers side. All he has to do is win this next match and he will be into the final 8 redraw so not a big deal he took a loss now he just has to regroup and get out there and play like he has been earlier in the tournament. Im confident he will come back strong this next match he has always been really good about just shaking the previous match off and just going out there and getting the next one. I am so proud of Chad & the whole Behnke family. I've watched the "kids" group up into fine young men. Their parents have so much to be proud of.

So Chad has one loss...a minor detail when you consider that he has already accomplished. He is representing the United States at a World Championship...let that sink in for a minute. Win or lose, that is something so few of us pool players will ever do. There are millions of us, yet only a handful qualify for this tournament.

Hold your head high, Chad, & do your best. That is all you've ever done and all we can ask for now.

Just PLAYING in the World Championship is both a huge accomplishment, and an honor to represent your country. Congratulations to all of the American kids who got to go. Sorry to hear Chad is out. Any news on Brendan or Manny?

World juniors

The whole Behnke family is super classy.
Watchez is correct - Jerry and Marge Behnke did an amazing job in raising their family. I admire them all.

I think it is great that Chad got to represent the US.
And how about Little Joe - touring Europe like he knows what he is doing!
