Did they complete the first round Fri? Johnnyt
i watched some of the matches on the stream.
no disrespect but they should not have played on that tight table.
i would rather watch them run out on a normal table.

The tables in the tournament room at HT were done by Ernesto and are fast with tight pockets. There werre 4 tables outside with old cloth and play slower with wider pockets Chang and Chen played on these. They seem to have adapted to the tournament room well enough.
Several players had trouble with the tighter pockets. Most tables in CA have tight pockets. How about on the East Coast?

The tournament side to Hardtimes Bellflower has always been known to be tight pockets and plays tougher than the standard setup tables on the other normal side behind the bleachers. Its been like that forever and I doubt they'd change that. The tournament side is also in better condition overall than the other side to Hardtimes.
I'm sure that it would be more fun to watch some run outs, but its a true test of skill when all the ladies were in the same boat to play on those tables against each other.

wow this is a tough event. there's some notable names that didn't make the 2nd round cut. (names in bold are still in) you make it to the final 8 you've earned your spot on the WPBA.
Does anyone know where they are posting brackets yet?
