This is something I'm working on in my spare time . Srarting to look like something . I was fighting length and dia. problems to keeper wrapless .

1/4 " to long .

.060 Brass ring .

Desent points .

I don't think it's too long at all. Just because it's not the "industry standard" of a 58" cue doesn't mean much. As you know, people buy 57", 58", 59" and 60" cues all the time. Just make the shaft(s) 29.25 also for an even split. I'm sure you would have no problem finding a buyer for a sweet wrapless titlist that is 58.5".

I REALLY like the way that is looking!! Can't wait to see the finished product!! Keep up the good work!!!:grin-square:

26 1/2 or 28 1/2.
Two of the Titlists I worked with, I had to extend the bottom.
Threaded on a dowel and used a maple sleeve.
Nothing wrong with 28 1/2 though .
Or a 57 1/2 long cue.

Looks to be "on target" for the length. A stamped 15 on a 26.5 model is a challenge to say the least.

What diameter did you end with at the butt and joint?

Looks good Jim...Doug

Hey Jim,

I don't get the 26 1/2 reference after looking at the yardstick?

Rick

If I am not mistaken I believe it started life at 26.5". He extended it to be a standard length? At least that is what it would appear to be by looking at the scale. Unless I have missed the obvious.

Yes , Diametor was a challenge . joint is not fully tapered yet , I think it will be right at .830 , same as a S.W. They are mostly .829 .

I had a steel joint on but just did not like the look , so I put this Elforin Ivory figured on in its place . and its still straight .

In fact I changed both ends , its the way I like now .

Jim

26 1/2 and 28 1/2 refer to Brunswick pre-Titlist cues...not the length. One of these was gonna be mine...but I just cannot swing it right now. Someone is gonna get a nice cue, for sure. In fact, I really like this one now, and think Jim went the right way with it...wish he could take payments...LoL!

As an owner of an ebony 26 1/2, I am happy to see that someone finally pointed this out.

Thank you for explaining that, very much appreciated
