anyone else getting a search bar on the left of the page........... I only get it on this forum..... has the forum been hacked or have I ????

google chrome here too

had that one day last week

it was some kind of add-on extension
deleted it and all is normal again
 
thanks for the replies..... I found it.... it's called persuepoint..... I uninstalled it........ probably got it on a porn site.... LOL

everything looks normal here - using windows expl and I just tried firefox, it looks okay, too.

Click on TOOLS and then EXTENSIONS in Google Chrome and see if anything new has been added. If so, just uncheck it. :)
 
I'm using Comodo Dragon, a modified Chrome browser and don't see anything out of the ordinary. But, then, I just got up;)

You know what happens sometimes, if a person is IN PROGRESS of making a post, but somebody new comes along and makes a quick post, before that person finishes their post, they don't have the opportunity to read the post. It's there in the queue but isn't published until that person hits SUBMIT REPLY. :wink:

it wasn't in the extensions........ it was an installed program........... but it uninstalled ok
