I'll tell you. Losing the cash, I litterly lost $10,000 in cash. Its gone poof into to thin air. I took the $$ from the bank, thought I put it in my cue case. nope not there, ok maybe my duffel bag, nope not there. Man my brain is gone-I been running cold for a while now but this is rediclous. If I lost it on a bet, so what I had action-but to just lose it for nothing hurts more than I ever thought. I took it out of the bank to use for action. Now I dont even want to play.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
Think hard...did you walk away from your cue case?

Who else knew about the cash?

Just offering food for more thought, though you've probably already been there.

It happens. The amount is relative to your means. I've had a few huns disappear never to be found.

I do hope you find your cash or figure out where it went just the same!!

Re-trace, I'm sure you've done that already. Who was with you at any point between the bank, and when you discovered it missing. If it was benjamins, that's a decent knot, but not huge, did you change your pants? Good luck to you broseph.

i didnt go to the pool room, i drove from vegas to la, and stayed home the past 4 days(my back hurt to much to play), thinking the whole time the loot was in my cue case. When i saw it wasnt in the cue case-i fugured it was in my duffel bag. I travel alot and awalys have the same gun, glasses, contacts, spot for hte loot, cue, etc. I remember the strap was real tight on the cash so it was a full 100 $100 bills.


Nobody was here, i didnt go anywhere. I lost it loading the car before the drive the other night leaving Vegas on T-Day late at nite. Man i'm sick, i havent made $$$ in 30 months as of Dec 1, so this the worst time, if I was making $$$ I really wouldnt care-but i'm not and it stings like hell. Man i have awalys been a scatter brain but i'm getting worse.

Wow Eric, I lost $200 once and I was angry at myself for days. Sorry to hear you lost so much. Hope it turns up somehow.

But isn't this where you go get another $10Gs, go to the casino, put it all on red, then say, "oh, here's that $10G I was missing?" :thumbup:

Have had something long ago - but *just* with 100 Deutsche-Mark. Was sad, bc wanted to buy something with it i wanted so bad. 4-5 Month later my girl-friend hollered at me through the whole house "what the **** does a 100er Note do in your Jogger ? ...rotfl.......

Hope makes you a bit laughing-and perhaps it will happen to you also some day in the next months :)

That sucks that you lost it. Hope it is still around and didn't find it's way loose.

I couldn't imagine finding 10k in loose cash. I think if I rolled up on a bundle of hundos like that I would shit. Just think, if it is gone, you may have just made someones best day ever.

It's all relative. $200 to you and $10,000 to him is basically the same thing.

Sucks either way though. Good luck with that.
 
Man I'm really sorry to hear that Fatboy. I'm always multi-tasking so I have to be kind of obsessive-compulsive about making sure I do everything I need to get done, if that makes any sense? I hope your bank roll turns up or you remember where you put it. I hate that sick feeling I get in my stomach when I can't remember if I did something that I'm supposed to do.
 
Most I ever brain farted on was ~$250. And 2 blockbuster movies @$20/ea:embarrassed2: at the same time. Bag, top of car, parking lot:frown:.

But no story yet is as bad as this dude:
Guy lives near me and is a no-driver. Calls and asks for ride to poolroom.
Pick him up and he is all sad, tells me he had $1600 and a bunch of illegal vendables, was in the woods playing with the animal tranquilizer:eek:, freaked out and buried all his valuables. Not to be found later.

Eric, I guarantee you set it down just for a second while you did something else. Something distracted you for a moment (like a phone call) and that was all the distraction you needed. You walked away and left it sitting there.

My own story like that. I was in the Manila airport getting ready to leave the country. I had lots of stuff I was carrying, after just getting my boarding pass. I stopped at a nearby counter to arrange things and set a few things on the counter while I got all my stuff together. I walked off, leaving my PASSPORT sitting there!

Moments later I searched my pockets for my passport as I'm about to go through security. It's not there! OMG! I retraced my steps, knowing that without it I couldn't board my flight or even get through security. I was totally screwed! I'm wandering around and finally go back to the window where I had gotten my boarding pass. I asked the lady if anyone had turned in a passport. She looked puzzled but at that moment one of the women at another window said something. Someone had turned in a passport to her. She comes over with my passport in her hand. Miracles do happen!

But sad to say, money rarely comes back.
 
Ouch buddy, that do suck big time...... but perhaps it will show up..... How's the back doing?
