Of course you do,and if you knew how .you would already have it.Trouble is you don't know,so you listen to everybody who doesn't know either.


I knew a great player who owned a lot of big name cues,every time he ordered a cue he told the cue maker exactly what he wanted 19.5 balance point,4.25 ounce shafts and on and on.He never found what he wanted.He ended up a semi well known cue maker,made several cues but same story.

Definition of insanity-doing the same thing over and over and expecting
different results.

I had a cuemaker make me a cue exactly like I wanted,as opposite from a pro taper,as far from a Meucci,and as close as I could to everythingI like.It is full slice ,,close to european taper,stiff but soft, I aim where I want to hit the ball and it goes there.I was told that it wouldn't work,would not draw--blah,blah , It works great for me,draws ball very good.

I have had 3 made,to my specs,If you want one send me $300 if it works for you great,if not thats tuff-no guarantees,but I am well known for selling expensive cues,all i can tell you is that I have never played anywhere near as good as I do with this sneaky pete looking cue.If you buy it and like it I am going to have several made

These cues are made for serious pool players,no wrap but no finish but tung oil so your back hand doesn't get clamy,modified hoppe style.

If this is all you can afford please don't buy it because its so different you might not like it ,and quite frankly I don't need the aggravation.

I am a 64 year old and it improved my game dramatically,but you may not like it.So for those of you who don't mind risking $300 on a chance to play better.The first two buyers will get one ,When they are gone they are gone,and if I agree to get you another one,it will take a couple of months and the cost will be more.

Just so you know

Dean just sold me a ebony nose Scruggs veneer cue. Dean was probably the first person to export collectable cues decades ago. He supplied people like John Wright with some of their cues. Dean is the absolute top of the food chain.
Dean is a legend. You just don't know him but all the big cue makers have for decades.
It is not unusual for Dean to make a comment on the phone and have someone fly half way around the world to buy a $25,000 or higher cue just because they thought he MIGHT sell it.
Dean is one solid gentleman. And you would never know about him unless some nobody like me told you about him. I am glad to have him as a new friend I might add!
Beat this. George Balabushka was completing 2 cues for Dean when George passed. Guss literally had a cue he was making for Dean in his lathe when he passed. The list doesn't stop there. He is awesome to say the least. I seriously think he was a inovator and one of the largest whole sellers of high end cues cues in my life time. But if you weren't big you didn't get to deal with him.

Please do not buy this cue unless you can laugh at the whole thing if it doen't play the way you want it to.

Both cues are sold pending payment>I am overwhelmed by the response.I decided to do five more of these as part of the fun little experiment to see if its just me or if the design actually is a game improvement break through.

You can reserve one for yourself now,with no deposit,but the cues will not be ready for a couple of months.

My personal one is not for sale.

Let me tell you an interesting story about Mike Cochran who works with Tim Scruggs as many of you already know and makes some of the best playing cues in the nation.

Now,as I just said,he makes and has made some of the best playing cues in the nation. Well over the past year I have been looking for something magic, and every time I get a new Scruggs,or Cochran, Mike calls to see how I like it, how it hits, AND OCCASIONALLY HAS ME SEND IT BACK FOR A DIFFERENT TIP. I was AMAZED HOW MUCH difference a tip can make.(In fact if you are not happy with your play try changing your tip before you make an expensive change)

Well, over the last few months Mike has been hearing me talk about this cheap sneaky pete that plays so good.When I told him more about it, he laughed at me ,but after I put my reputation at stake by publicly recommending this odd ball cue,well Mike called and asked me to send him my personal cue so he could run tests on it and see if the whole thing is in my head or if there is something to it.

Think of that! Here is a guy who already makes the what many consider to be the best hitting cue in the world and he is still open to see if it's possible to improve.

Either that or he is thinking of trashing my miracle cue. Which do you think?

I think Mike is going to lose that cue if plays so good!

Joking- Can't wait to read the feedback from some purchasers. Seems like cue technology could use a major revolution (I am not sure the CNC counts).
 
This is by far the most interesting sales strategy I have ever seen.

No Pics..just send the dough and if you don't like the cue, tough.

,buy one, enjoy the cue or hate the cue ,tell the boys at the pool hall about the time you bet $300 in the dark and let them have a good time at your expense.

I was always a gambler at heart ( when I had nothing to lose) so I'm goin for it............:)
