I just installed some PVC trim on my house. Was very impressed with it. Might give a shaft a try. Thanks for posting this info!

I will use an ABS cue, like Chopdoc suggested! Prepare to meet your doom as I wield my superior, precision instrument!
You can put your weeeeeeed in it.
I'm upgrading to PVC with phenolic shaft. Gonna have leather wrap too.

Same could be said about golf clubs, fishing rods, bats and hockey sticks. So I assume you're playing with a pvc pipe then?
This game is so mental, that feel and feed back ARE important to a player, playing at a high level. But you're right, let's all stop being suckers, and stop giving our hard earned money to these billion dollar billiard moguls
No money in the billiards industry = no money for the players.
If you run out with your broomstick or pvc pipe, more power to you.
This game is a passion, for most of us. I'll play with the cue I like. I do not require, nor desire approval from curmudgeon and negative old farts.

I think you missed the sarcasm.
I think if read the OP again, you'll see it differently.
I get my tips from leather belts that i find at thrift stores.
I aim to find a healthy balance between cheap and lazy. :embarrassed2:
My wife can't find our mop or broom since I read this thread. Wait until she looks for the vacuum cleaner extension.
It might upset the missus, but if you stuff her pocket rocket...err swedish massager...into the PVC tubing and turn it on, you'll always have good vibrations when you're shooting. Talk about FEEL....![]()
