Fran never asked him that, she must have sent a one sentence, "You know a guy named Matt Sherman?" and AFTER the SECOND time she claimed I lied, I set her straight... soon enough she said I had mental problems, a disgraceful, distasteful statement to make when people at AZ and loved ones actually struggle through mental illness.

I posted (at AZ, I've never posted such elsewhere) that Tony worked with me, which sounds nicer than he worked for me.

I apologized and recanted/clarified about Max Eberle above, and hope you read that response.

I read the response, and I’ll bow out of this thread. Hoping all I’ve said can be a positive for any future pool-related projects anyone has. I’ll be off smashing balls into the pocket points until they submit.

I think at this point I'll tell a story on someone at AZ, which is verifiable if one can find the thread. I wrote (something like), "Students are amazed that I choose shots fast when running out, because I understand sequencing," and they said, "No you don't. You don't play and think fast," or something to that effect, and this (arrogant) person had never seen me hit a ball.

Um, just yesterday you took a shot at my personal faith knowing nothing about my religious practice, dude.

So you go first, post your running of a few racks tonight and send me the URL and I will personally make it my business to critique your every move as only I know how. It will be fun and you'll learn a lot! I'll treat you just the way you treat me and have treated me since my first posts at AZ.

Fortunately, as a born again Christian, I treat you better than you treat me.

Well, I think you have low expectations of me. What do you think I'm selling? Yes, I'm three or four people out from filling next month's clinic, but I make more at my day job and side hustles than at pool.

I'll be honest in case you've not noticed, I like debating. I enjoy it.

Forgot all about that forum. Only seen Dr. Dave on there instructor wise. Saw JV, Gatz, and Easy E on there. Adding you to the lineup of to watch.

I didnt mean I've only seen instructors on there, just around the internet or wherever. I've been on in past years. I've said I'll do it in the past and then didn't get around to it so I won't make that promise now. Right now, it looks like I can't get back on the table until July as I'm wrapping up some other stuff. I need to do something pool related as my game is starting to slip. :(

No, I just think about things more than you do. If I ran 12-and-out one-handed in One Pocket for you on video today, you'd what? Apologize for the horrible, loathsome things you've said about me? That would make you a kiss-up because I'm a strong player. Or as I suspect, you'd NOT let anything go and simply attack my teaching again. I'm just NOT wanting to video because you asked me, oh, so sincerely and nicely.

What I'd rather see is you or Sparkle say, "You know what? We don't know much about you but are willing to learn." That would be better than an apology in my book.
 
Now that I've vented, I am willing to take a look, is ghost a sub-forum of some kind or a thread? I just looked at the main categories and don't see it.

sticky thread at top of main forum. lets you put a face and game to a screen name. but it's mostly the same guys posting every year. So far Easy E was my fav watch.

The ghost thread is the second sticky thread on the main forum front page. It's awesome to watch all of these guys play.

I do not have low or anything negative to say about you…. Just saying you’re selling a blind item. This thread can give you great free exposure however it would be nice see what you have. I worked with instructors and will stay with them. No reason to step away from them. Otherwise If I needed an instructor maybe I’d contact you… but that would depend on what I saw from a promo video. That’s why I keep pushing you to show what you offer. Serious I have no beef with you. Just wondering what you are About.

I see, I'm wanting to post something here but this thread is getting nuts and is far from the OP.
 
In the past, people selling services on the Main Forum were chastised and eventually moved out of that forum. (Geno in particular comes to mind, probably because he was so prolific with it.)

So that is in fact another change in how things are handled here on AZB these days.

Honestly, I didn't know.

Now the OP has changed to debating. I love debating but no one wants to debate any facts (color me surprised).
