Im in shock right now. Thats amazing. She must have played a great game. I hope they replay it or put it out somewhere to watch, cuz thats a hell of a win
I might not have the exact score right but I believe she came back from7-4 or 8-4 down to win this match
Davenport and Ortmann had to stop their match for a minute to wait for all the cheering to subside.
I love SVB as much as everyone else, but seriously how cool is that? Cha is a cutie pie too, I still think XT is the hottest chick in the WPBA but Cha is not so bad herself. Man I cant believe she won, thats insane.

If they keep using that 80-foot away overhead angle you can see all the matches simultaneously.
Watched some of a match she played the other night
I was very impressed with her focus and discipline, not so much with some of the shots she chose. Doubt that she beat Shane playing the way she was the other night but the shot is always easier to see sitting in your easy chair rather than in the glare of the spotlight and in the middle of competition. With the match wins she is posting lately there is no doubt at all she is much more than a pretty face!
She, Cris, Jasmin, a handful more, it looks like the young guns of lady's pool are coming on strong. It doesn't seem like the changing of the guard will be that far off. My prediction though, none of the ladies will dominate like Allison Fisher has. The field gets deeper and wider by the day. Hopefully the sport will grow enough to keep the strong young players in the sport, male and female.

heh davenport vs ortmann just finished and you can hear them discussing a very close hit on a shot that ortmann had to play. The mics in this event are awesome, you can hear players and sometimes railbirds chatting, every break on every table, etc... and the stream doesn't drop a frame. It's unfortunate they cannot do anything about showing kim's yellow pants, but there's nothing for it but to wince and keep watching.
Cha and SVB is still listed as playing on table 2, could it be Jones vs Archer?
That, I saw...couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. Glad I found out. Wow! The women are coming on strong.
Seasoning. The more the women play the men and the more they post wins the more seasoned that they will become. They will come to see that they can play at this level and they will get plenty of opportunity to be tested out of the gate with most matches they play.
On the WPBA the women's fields are much stronger now and with the new format it's definitely made it harder for the top ten to stay the same year after year.
I also think if more and more tournaments will allow men and women to compete professionally then it can only help the game to gain in popularity.
I honestly didn't think that Yu Ram Cha had that kind of game though. Congrats on a well deserved and hard fought win. Bummer for Shane to lose this match though after being ahead.
