Black Ostrich embossed leather case

- the case is made of ostrich embossed leather and full grain cow leather ( I made a layered panel of these two)

Just to say that this ostrich embossed is a cow leather too. It’s done really well and it has amazing texture. The pattern is it’s not uniform so it looks like a real ostrich leather.
-black interior
-antique brass metal hardware
- 17 3/4 inches long pocket
- inside of the pocket is a suede sleeve for a cue extension or jump butt



All of my cases are hand stitched and hand dyed.

This one is 2x4 and will fit total length of 31.5 inches inside.

Side handle and strap on the top that is used for top handle.

Really good thing is that side handle can be flattened to the body of the case. That way you won’t feel it when carrying the case on your shoulder.


Adjustable shoulder strap with a shoulder pad (leather/ suede).

NEW Bulletproof Synthetic Playing Tips.

Tbh, I don't see the advantage of playing with a synthetic tip , at least not the soft one . I have been playing with the bulletproof synthetic soft tip for about a year now , and it still mushrooms like a leather tip . I don't have any complaints about this synthetic tip, but it does mushroom . I have had even others tell me the same thing when I showed it to them. I haven't tried anything but the soft , and wonder how the medium and hard hold up as far as mushrooming .

American players who have won the US Open 9 ball Championship, in recent years?

Also been some notable US runner ups. Appleton beat Shawn Putnam to win one. And Fedor beat Shane in 2024. And yes I count Fedor.

US Winning 6 in that time is pretty impressive, given that pool is now a global sport.

For this year Shane and Fedor still the best chance for the US. Bergman possibly could do it if he puts the time in. Sky seems focused on his young family so I’m not sure he is ready.

And I don’t think the kids are ready. But then I would have said Felix Vogel is years away from beating a strong field and he just won a big event, so who knows. Indeed some of the past Open winners were a surprise when they won.

Oh, way off topic, but I wonder if that is the same Shawn Putnam who became a cue maker. Lol, there seems to be two of them, and their names are just a tiny bit different. Shawn Putnam, and Putman, lol. Or, maybe it is the same guy, and people just tend to spell his name wrong. I do not know. I heard he was a really good cue maker though. Almost went down in history as a US Open winner. That is cool. I guess not many people remember the 2nd place finishers.
