Someone loved her, once upon a time. They played with this cue so much, they wore the wrap all the way through in places. They didn't take care of her, though. Once she eventually became dirty and started to show her age, she was eventually discarded (likely for a newer model). I just couldn't see this former beauty queen go out that way.
This cue spent the last four decades in Japan. I brought it home and had Meucci give it a full facelift. New wrap, new finish, new ferrule, medium Kamui tip and even a fresh butt bumper. They lightly faced the end of the butt to eliminate some small nicks and dents.
Butt is perfectly straight. Shaft has the typical taper roll, but still within the taper. Together, she rolls beautifully with no lifting at tip, collar or butt end.
