Back on the market and all packed up and ready to ship ASAP. Buyer didn't read the description and requested a refund at the last second
No players under the age of, say, 45ish don't give a shit about the 'mystique' of a custom cue. A cue is a tool nothing more. I started back when the belief was that to play good you had to go custom. Those days are gone forever. Good playing cues can be had from 100bux on up.
You are wasting your breath.
Fear is mental.Yes.
I grant all day long that the Europeans are the superior team and inherent in that is the ability to adjust to different equipment. But the instances where our guys are failing to get out, to me, it’s more out of a lack of familiarity (and perhaps a bit of fear of those pockets) with the equipment than much else.

I have had GOOD players get pissed and quit when I have done it before, even though they knew it was a legal move.
They called it unsportsmanlike when I stopped them when they thought they had me trapped for an easy win.
Fargo app on my phone has him 791, tied with Roberto GomezNot according to Fargorate.com
Where did you see that he's tied for #99?

Oh well, it doesn't matter anyways, he's still ass juice.
#98 lookin scrumptious though![]()
I own a fair amount of custom cues still but play with a cheap Mezz.I don’t think there’s anything mythological about a custom cues hit. I’ve played dozens of aftermarket shafts. They all played really good, but hit like crap.
I think a lot of players care more about ld performance.
The problem is when they do this sort of thing and it becomes the norm. If this is apparently how they want it to be in the Mosconi cup more power to them, but it's not pleasant to watch. It's a shame that bad manners, arrogance and rude behavior are becoming the norm. It's gotten rowdier and more like a zoo, I am not a fan of it either. Best watched on mute LOL
It's like a parody of Basketball or College Football now more than a cue sport.
