Psychology bachelor’s thesis on neurocognitive aspects of pool billiards – participants wanted

Is a thesis for a Bachelor a thing in the

This question is one of my Hypothesis! We should see such differences as we know since decades about differences between male and female, when it comes to mental rotation tasks.
I'm not sure asking specifically pool players would answer that question very well in a general sense. People who are spatially challenged, be it men or women, are much less likely to be pool players, much less pool enthusiasts who will be answering these questions. Never mind the additional self-selection bias of people willing to sit through 20mins of standardized test questions about it.

Nick Varner is a Fargorate 777

According to my math 50" x 100" diagonal is 111.8' and a 40" x 80" (Diamond) is 89.44" diagonally for a difference of 22.36" but my math may be off
Alas you are correct. My apologies. Worked it too quickly.

My points still stand. (Working slowly now), a barbox has 3200 sq inches of playing area, a 9' has 5000 inches, which means a 9' has over 56% more playing area. On a big table the average shot will be longer--and the subsequent position--and there will be fewer clusters. I am still often surprised at how much firmer I can/need to stroke on a 9' than a barbox, and how lightly I need to hit and how many clusters I need to deal with on a barbox. Someone accustomed to one table size switching to the other will really need to develop areas of their game they hadn't previously.

Again, I think it's much more common in lower FR because anyone who is 800+ likely has practiced many, many hours on all sorts of equipment and is less likely to be unused to anything pool related. And is skilled enough to adapt quite readily (or, worse case, capable enough to still beat most people handily even if their skill drops a speed).

In Europe you need a players licence in order to take part in competitions or in the league. Sorry for some questions being a bit related to regional regulations. The license for instance in Austria requieres you to have a Assist Referee qualification.
So in Austria players are required to have training in the rules? Almost no American players have ever had such training, and even some top players make very basic rules mistakes.

Getting casino betting back and new sponsorships

To create a handle that would be worth the effort, the casinos would have to offer games on the wire (a point spread, in effect) and an over/under on total games in a match. They could even offer micro betting on who will win the lag, who will win the first rack, who will commit the first foul, whether a player will three-foul, etc.

Imagine how easy it would be for players to have surrogates place bets for which the outcome could easily be controlled by the players, and that could allow them to make more money than the tournament winner.

If I ran a casino, there would be no chance.

I mean, I know that players are always on the up-and-up and never conspire via text messages to fix the outcome of a match, or anything like that... but I would still take a pass.

Since you are putting it out internationally, I would say you need to be clear to the international audience, otherwise you may have a flaw in your data to be accounted for, and perhaps it could adversely effect your evaluation or grade.
